Approximately 14 years ago I was pregnant with my first child and I was a nervous new mom to be. I had lost a lot of weight in the year prior and I was having undiagnosed gallbladder issues. I relayed this information to her, I had worked with older women and they had all insisted it was my gallbladder but I was yet to find a doctor who took me seriously and actually checked. I was 26, 27. About 23 weeks in I started to have a gallbladder attack. I went to then Springfield community hospital and up to labor and delivery where they called Dr Jackson who was my primary, and she told them it was simply heartburn and to give me oral lidocaine. Approximately 2 to 3 days of being in the same attack I begged the practice to let me come in. Dr Billings finally agreed to see me even though he was not my primary. I got there, I peed in a cup and within 5 minutes Dr delong came in to tell me to go to the hospital then and there. I had a lot of blood in my urine, I was yellow, and it ended up I had a blocked bile duct. I could have died and I was dismissed due to a careless and uncaring Doctor who thought she was smarter than everyone else. There was another doctor there at the practice, Dr McNeely who after that became like my primary. Dr Jackson never checked on me a single time while in the hospital for 4 to 5 days, I nearly had surgery but they opted not to. And I never saw her the rest of my pregnancy because she somehow was too busy to see me at each appointment I had with her. Very unprofessional. Dr McNeely offered to induce me a week early and he delivered my child and he knew how I felt about Dr Jackson and stayed later because I did not want that woman touching me or my child. Very soon after he left the practice. I wish I had contacted an attorney back then because it was negligence and probably malpractice on her part. I almost died because this woman thought I was a hypochondriac and instead of listening to me she ignored me. I would never ever ever suggest this woman to anyone ever.

DR Jackson was the dr I say for my hysterectomy. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the whole procedure. I would give her and her staff more than 5 stars!

Dr. Jackson was very rude and condescending. I only saw her once and will never see her again. I asked her about an issue I was having that started while I was pregnant and she laughed while making a smart remark. The next week I saw Dr.Delong and she stated that there was a reason to worry about that symptom because it was a sign of high blood pressure. I was monitored very closely after that. Dr. Delong was great along with Dr. Billings but the other Doctors were very condescending and made me feel horrible. If you are a shy person and uncomfortable with private issues, only see Dr. Delong because the others will literally laugh at you.

WORST PERSON EVER PRETENDING TO BE IN A FIELD OF CARING !!! My wife had to have a procedure after a miscarrage. This person ( I refuse to call it a dr) told us, "Hey, miscarriages happen." when my wife was crying. Then, it told us we should adopt a "Crack Baby" since we still wanted children. We didn't report her at the time due to our devistation over losing out baby. If you want a bitter, nasty spinster, she's your gal. If I could rate her with negative stars, I would !

Dr. Jackson is wonderful, I recommend her to everyone, she's compassionate & caring always listens, can't say much for her office staff, but she can't do anything about it if you don't tell her.

I chose Dr. Jackson as my OBGYN b/c of high recommendations & high ratings from people's posted comments on the internet. My first visit to this office was nice, staff was very helpful & the new patient check in process was a breeze. Finally got to meet Dr. Jackson, she was so nice, caring & interested in what I had to say. She seemed out going, down to earth & spunky... a nice change from your tipicol uptight doctor. Dr. Jackson seemed very knowledgeable & intelligent. She was very helpful, answered all my questions & stayed w/ me for a professional amount of time a doctor should spend w/ a patient. Dr. Jackson does run late but mostly cause she's left a delivery, understandable. The short wait is well worth it though. I still highly recommend Dr. Jackson to everyone!!!! You won't regret it!! She's awesome!!
