Biography

Growing up in Jackson, New Jersey, I experienced the devastating effects of back pain as a child while playing sports. I was introduced to chiropractic care by my wonderful mother in the mid-seventies. Once I realized that a person could be helped without the use of medication, my life’s ambition, since seventh grade, was to become a chiropractor. I went to undergraduate college at Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, majoring in chemistry. I attended New York Chiropractic College on Long Island and graduated in 1986. I was lucky enough to marry my high school sweetheart and have 2 beautiful, successful daughters. As fate would have it, I opened a chiropractic office after graduation in Tampa, Florida and my wife got homesick for New Jersey. Driving home in a U-Haul, in a snowstorm, we put our roots down in Atlantic County and have been practicing in Northfield for over 30 years. Today, I continue to treat patients with a focus on trauma related injuries as well as many health and musculoskeletal issues. I continue my education with extensive postgraduate studies, including being credentialed in MRI Spine Interpretation and Spinal Biomechanical Engineering. When not taking care of patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 36 years. We love traveling and visiting our daughters. The oldest, Sarah, has her PhD, researching a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease and Julie, who owns a daycare, Jules and Gems, in Absecon.
