I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Kenter for my shoulder after another orthopedist was doing pretty much nothing, while I had constant pain & limited mobility. Dr. Kenter never pushed surgery, but gave me options. He is a teaching physician, but I found him very kind and never rushed. Arthroscopic surgery and physical therapy gave me use of my shoulder again and I'm forever grateful.

Terrible surgeon. He paralyzed my hand during elbow arthroscopy by cutting a nerve. I don't think he even knew that nerve was there to avoid and was completely baffled by the clinical presentation of my nerve palsy. He also has horrible bedside manner and is out the door real quick if you don't have a question immediately after he asks. The wait time was over a hour most times as well.

Dr. Kenter is amazing. He performed ACL reconstruction on my 16 year-old son. Not only is he an extremely skilled orthopaedic surgeon, he is kind and caring. He treated my son with the utmost respect. He explained everything in great detail, and we have the utmost confidence in him. He provided us with options and the statistics we needed to make the best decisions. He understands sports physics and what it takes to return to optimal function. The surgical nurses and PACU nurses rave about him. It is rare to find the perfect balance of outstanding surgical skill and bedside manner. I have complete confidence in UC Sports Medicine and Dr. Kenter. My son & I strongly recommend him for your surgical needs.

May daughter has been a patient off and on since 2003 for various sports injuries. Dr. Kenter has always been great with her and taken time to explain his findings to me. April, 2011 she had surgery. He met with me before and after. Explained everything in detail and showed me the photos. He knew I was concerned about total anesthesia so he did a nerve block and she was awake and watched the surgery. Very caring with my daughter, explained everything to her and made sure she understood each step leading up to the surgery. While I hope there are no more injuries, he is definitely the doctor we would see.

Arrogant, uncaring. Rough in his exam. Sorry I wasted my time and money.
