I'm still in pain eight years later from an unnecessary episiotomy. I was in labor for four hours and only pushed twice before she said "this is taking too long" and cut me! While I was in labor she even made sure I knew I was keeping her there at the hospital longer than what she wanted. It was the end of her shift and she wanted to go home. I had already expressed my concern about not wanting to be cut at previous appointments and she expressed to me her own injury of having a "botched" episiotomy herself and laughed it off. I had zero say so or control, which is a scary feeling when you are so vulnerable. She definitely made me distrust my current OB that I'm set to deliver with in two weeks.

Dr sevilla herself is an amazing dr. She's very insightful, caring, and compassionate. You can tell that she loves and cares about what she does. She delivered my baby a few yrs ago and everything went absoulutely perfect because of her. She even came in on her day off because I asked that she be there to deliver my baby. Wonderful woman. She was the absolute best.

Very disappointed and still hurting years after she delivered my baby. She cut a huge unnecessary episiotomy, even after I asked her not to! I gave her a birth plan& wanted to do everything naturally. I had a doula to help support me with labor. She giggled at my birth plan & made jokes about my doula. She made a joke about me needing a c section because I had a doula & a birth plan.
Her lack of knowledge was astonishing! Google knows more. My husband and I would ask her questions & she would give us different answers each time. She would dismiss my questions, and treat me like an idiot. Her bedside manner is nonexistent.
I wanted to change doctors, but it was too late in my pregnancy. During my labor, I had no pain medication and she cut a huge episiotomy, from my front all the way to back!!! She didn't sew me back together right. Now I can't have sex without pain and I leak poop. I have to see a special doctor for additional surgery to repair something I asked her not to do. She said that my baby was "big" and she was trying to save me from tearing!? What? My baby was only 6 pounds.
I would highly discourage anyone from seeing her!

I liked Dr. Sevilla. I was a new patient and found her to be very helpful and insightful regarding my history. She made me feel at ease, and took her time with me. I wish my new insurance allowed me to see her.

I loved Dr. Sevilla and her staff until this year; I had my annual pap in April and gave them an updated mailing address at the time for them to send my results to (my permanent address and contact number were the same). Six months went by and I received nothing from them, no letter, no calls, nothing. I recently moved and called them to inquire about my results as I'm getting in touch with new doctors. According to Dr. Sevilla, I was in need of a cervical biopsy and they'd been "trying" to reach me (surprisingly however, the receptionist read me the correct mailing address I'd given them in April over the phone, and Dr. Sevilla herself called me on the correct phone # without my needing to provide it again; it was on record). How for 6 months I managed to slip between the cracks is beyond me. All I know is that if my medical situation was more serious, they'd have a lawsuit coming their way for 6 months of not letting me know I needed additional tests. Do not use this obgyn team.

She was very informative explaining my prolapse. But she was disgusted about all this "tissue" in her way of the exam. Believes surgery is the only way. Ignores that surgery can be ineffective and need repeating. I don't like a doctor disgusted at my condition that doesn't bother me, only her! Staff was fine as they properly billed as preventative.
