I mer Dr. Conwell on the end of 2011 in hill health center in new haven I was very nervous, and he made my visit the best ive ever had. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment and hes not there no more :(, please if anyone knows where he is located now, please let me know!! THANK YOU!

Best doctor ever. I love him! The wait can be a little annoying, but I don't mind because I know he will spend just as much time with me. His staff is beyond great too, Virgina is sweet and helpful, and Erica can't be beat with her insurance skills. This trio is the best and I'm so lucky I found him on my first try looking for a OBGYN!!

THE BEST!!! BEST BEST!!!!! I only hope he sticks around long enough for when my time to have children arrives..... i don't think i could do it without him! and his nurse Virginia is simply amazing.....

I like Dr. Carter, but sometimes feel as though his long history in the buiness makes him a little too comfortable when dleivering babies. He is the bomb, but I like to be a little mor conservative in certain areas.

Dr. Carter is a phenomenal doctor who not only delivered my daughter in August of 2004 under stressful circumstances. (blood pressure issues) He also delivered my niece the year before as well as too many other familial children to list. Dr. Carter has a wonderful bedside manner with the ability to put the most uncomfortable patient at ease. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years. I would highly recommend him for his knowledge and expertise as well as personability and professionalism.

If you are looking for an "A" class OB/GYN...this is him! Dr. Conwell B Carter. The Best! I have been seeing him for 16 years now.He delivered both my daughters. He is SUPERB! His nurse Virginia is awesome. She talks to you like she is your very own sister. I hope Dr. Carter is not thinking of retiring. He just can't! He is going to have to wait for my daughters.

He's the best ob/gyn ever... I have been going to Dr. Carter for 15 years and have always felt like he's taken care of the problem, if any. He also delivered my two children. They're all like family now. His staff is fabulous and friendly. A great place to go. Because he delivers babies, sometimes his punctuality suffers, but I still wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Carter literally saved my life when he diagnosed and treated my cervical cancer. I'd been through three OB's before him and none found the lesion. By the time he found it it was fairly advanced, but he took a conservative approach and spared me a full hysterectomy. He is an amazing doctor with a great bedside manner--very comforting and patiently answered all of my questions down to the smallest detail. Highly recommended!

Dr. Carter is the perfect balance - professional while friendly; informative without frightening and he makes what can be an unpleasant exam thorough but not traumatic. I've gone to him for 13 years and would only change if I moved more than 100 miles away!
