Extreme lack of empathy and concern for patients struggling with co-occurring disorders. Very condescending and poor interpersonal skills. Left feeling worse than when I went in.

did not return families phone calls when patient was in er for psych eval UNTIL persistent requests were sent to her.when she did deign to return calls,informed us she did not provide inpatient care.yet she sucked all the money she could from bcbs for outpatient care and never informed us of her policy of not seeing patients in the hospital.yeah,she got all the blue cross money she could.shame on her.oh,and the patient did well in spite of her uncaring attitude.

The doctor seems very removed from the situation/illness. She did not promptly return calls and did not have the urgency as family members did of the seriousness of the illness. This doctor released the patient from the hospital, left town for two weeks, and the patient committed suicide the day after he was released from the hospital. The medication had not had time to be regulated for patient and dosage had increased while in the hospital...Risperdal, Depkote, and Klonapin.
