Upon meeting Dr. Black, my first impression was that he was very rude. Terrible bedside manner. Some days, he was in a great mood and was very compassionate and other days, he just seemed frustrated and rushed and almost annoyed. He is very knowledgeable, however, not very pro-active. Waiting weeks for important appointments or follow ups, calls never being answered, etc. Also, clerical staff is also very rude and seem to always be confused as to why you are calling or make you feel like a burden for even contacting the office. Nurses are fabulous!

Dr. Black my Mothers Doctor for her cancer. My Mother is 85 and I'm 55. I go with her to EVERY visit. At this time I don't know how he will turn out BUT I do know everytime my mother and I go he Talks DOWN to us. VERY Demeaning and Rude. It's so shocking. We are polite and haven't said anything but next time I will ask him, why is he talking to my Mom that way? Does anyone else get treated this way?

Absolutely a fabulous and caring doctor. Very concerned about his patients and their well being. He takes care of the whole patient-not just cancer issues. His support during my husband's ordeal with cancer was great. His nurses are truly amazing. They will answer any questions you have with infinite patience. His clerical staff could improve.
