Very detailed first office visit for my elderly mother who has unrelieved pain after back surgery and a fall. Office staff was very nice. The new patient scheduler, Kelsey went above and beyond contacting other Doctors offices to get documentation and records needed for the referral process. Thank You1

He was very understandable, and experience everything well, and treated my pain on herniated disc.I do not understand why some people dislike him. Office staff are nice and compassionate. He is a pain management specialist, so probably he is careful in prescription for people whose MRI does not show the cause of pain. Otherwise, I just cannot see why he gets bad review.

A walking medical disaster. He scheduled a porcedure, the patient was waiting in preop, the doctor appeared and wanted to know what he was supposed to do! He said that the procedure should be cancelled and called an "Office Visit" then changed his mind and did the procedure. It did not work as did his first attempt. Then he wanted to schedule more office visits to charge more money and, I guess, to talk the pain away. Did not listen to the patient, was arragant and demeaning. He ahould take up another type of employment--away from medicine and contact with people

Arrogant, degrading, totally unprofessional. Confused as to what he was supposed to do. Did not listen to the patient. Just outside the operating room where the patient had already been prepared, he decided to call off the procedure and call it an office visit. Was totally unprepared and had obviously not read the patient information. After 2 procedures, he did not help the patients pain level at all. Then he wanted more "Office Visits" to talk the pain away. Total joke.

After reading the 2 reviews of Dr. Wagner below, I felt compelled to share my experience. I was simply looking up his number online to schedule a follow up injection appt. and stumbled upon this site - I have no affiliation or connection to Dr. Wagner or his staff. Much like the others described, my first meeting with Dr. Wagner was a bit uncomfortable and I felt as though every aspect of my life was in question - from my family history to my very limited medical history. That being said, I've now been treated by Dr. Wagner for a couple of years and he is truly a kind and gifted clinician. Once I got past our initial appt. - from which I left feeling very frustrated - I have come to appreciate his style and demeanor and I respect this man immensely. I've been diagnosed with myofacial pain syndrome and have knots all over my body. He has treated my neck and my back successfully - as a matter of fact, he's the only clinician that's been able to give me relief. He's awesome in my book :)

Dr. Wagner asked how I was injured and I described the two times I was injured and how. He tried to provoke me to get angry or anxious by repeating the same question 3 times, then asked me if I was anxious, he was unprofessional in his manner. He seemed irritated because I told him I had been poked and hurt by several doctors and didn't want an exam only a consulation. I explained ahead of time to his staff that I did not want the physical exam. He did listen and then disagreed that I could have been injured in the way described. I started to get the nerve up to get the exam and asked him what kind of exam he would do or if he would press on the injured spot. He didn't reply and said I had chronic myofascial and walked out without quickly wihtout a goodby or comment.

I am a chronic pain patient and was referred to this man from a previous Doctor who was not under my insurance. From the start this man questioned every medication my prior doctor had recommended. the medications had worked for me in the past but this guy always had , i guess, suspicions that i was taking too many for my back pain and neck pain. You see, i have rods in my back and neck. This man was very unprofessional at my last visit! I had just lost my mother the day before and was preparing to go to her funeral the next day so i asked him to refill ONE medication, thats all. It was 2 days to early and he refused. HE has no compassion,he already forms his opinion in his mind and no matter what you say to him about your pain he does not seem to care. I would not wish this man on my worst enemy,if i had a worst enemy(I dont) PLease if you are looking for a pain management doctor. I repeat DONT GO TO THIS MAN> HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SYMPTOMS OR ANY THING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER. BEWARNED
