Dr. Evans was a wonderful doctor. But more important, he was a decent human being and he knew his stuff. I had gone to a walk in clinic in sandpit rd., Danbury. The doctor there told me the bad cough I had was from my blood pressure medication ( which had NOT been prescribed by Dr. Evans), then he sent me home. The cough got worse so my husband, who had been Dr. Evans patient for a while suggested I see him. We went over (thanks to his walk in hours) and after he saw me he told me I was a very sick girl. It seems I had whopping cough. From that day on Dr. Evans became the only Doctor we would see. I am so sorry that he retired although I know he deserved to. Even when we moved to Maine if we were in Connecticut and weren't feeling well we would stop in and see Dr. Evans. The care he gave was over and beyond what any doctor we have found can give. We miss you and wish you well.

Dr Donald T Evans was my whole family's doctor for decades, and mine from 1967 to 2007 when he retired he saved my life many times he cared about me not collecting his fee. Doctor Evans can never be replaced he was one of a kind. I wish him long life and peace. He has earned my respect and my trust for life. I thank him for all he has done for me and my family I have not found a good doctor since I left CT and I dout that I ever will. Thank You Maxine

Donald Evans has been my Dr. for the last 30 years. I used him because I was gay and wanted the comfort of having a gay Dr. The staff is effective, orderly, but some are rude as hell! hmmmmm reflection of the man they work for? The male nurse stinks of smoke, is one of the most obnoxious people I've met. The secretaries needed to smile and be pleasant. These faults have cost the Dr. great loss in patient volume. I know for a fact he has made some potentially lethal mistakes because of misdiagnosis. These Lives were saved per a 2nd opinion. He should have retired years ago. He had great bed side manner! His work with the gay and str8 communities was well accredited! He is no longer able to make a safe diagnosis. I no longer trust his judgement. I say that with absolute certainty! He was too quick to pass out scripts without making a solid diagnosis. It is too soon to judge him as to the latest accusations, until the feds have completed their case and the Dr is judged by the law. I wish Him well. He had good intentions

this doctor makes you feel better the moment he walk into the room. i feel as all i needed was just for him to tell me that i will be feeling better soon. he seems to have a way about him that is so comforting that you can talk to him about anything---problem solved, and his advice goes well beyond medicaion. i have had him as my doctor since i was a little kid when he would come to the house... this man is very smart.... most of my friends and family go to him and feel the same way. i even lived in new york and would drive to his office just for his care. even for a cold. i never experienced a doctor that was so humble.

Okay, let me start by saying that Dr. Evans himself isn't a terrible doctor, really. He is an older man that really is usually pleasant; the only thing I don't like is that he seems ready to prescribe at all times. I guess lots of doctors are like that nowadays, but to me it just seems like they're drug pushers for the crooked pharmaceutical companies. Anyway, although Dr. Evans is not rude, is punctual, and friendly, his staff is the WORST I have EVER EVER EVER come into contact with. His secretary is downright rude, has a bad attitude, is sarcastic, and stares people down like they aren't good enough. Another time, I came into contact with the male nurse there. He was rude and obnoxious to the point where he almost started a fight with me when I entered the office because I asked an innocent question. Also, the office is very outdated, but I find that aspect tiny in comparison to the complete obnoxiousness of the staff.

He is a very good doctor. He is the type of doctor that will sit there and listen to your problems.
