Without Dr. Dickman I would not be walking today, cannot tell you how grateful I am to him and his staff that he happened to be working after my car accident. It has been a few years and have had no problems since. He was able to put my neck back together with bone grafts, plates and screws.

I came to see this arrogant doctor for neck problems. My mother was with me. He looked over my mri showed me what was wrong with my neck on the spine model and what they would have to do. Then he gets a ph call and answers it during my appt. All my life, and I go to a lot of doctors has that ever happened. He was so disinterested. I asked in his professional opinion if he thought I should have the surgery or not? He refused to answer and said basically you can go either way. He just was a D!ck... excuse the pun. Spent maybe 4 minutes with me. My mom was angry. I refused to let this doc touch me after that. Now wonder he has such a bad rating.

I count myself very fortunate to have gotten Dr. Dickman, who upon reviewing a previous MRI immediately scheduled surgery for 2 disc fusions. I was literally walking around and in SO much less pain than had been for MONTHS just a day after the surgery. I still have follow-up in another month or two, and am looking forward to seeing both the doctor, as well as his staff. I found them pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. Even when some confusion was taken in filing paperwork, they literally bent over backwards to help correct the situation. We are all very thankful for the help and expertise received.

Dr Dickman was an excellent surgeon, as well as upbeat, compassionate, and confident. He never promised miracles, but delivered more than i could have ever hoped for. I needed a confident doctor considering my back surgery was in the thoracic region at T 7-8. Years of pain as a young woman, after more than 26 other doctors and procedures that were only helpful to lumbar patients, finally at 35 years old, I got Dr. Dickman. I had to fight for years with Kaiser to get them to actually help me with my back after countless comments like "its in your head" etc. Because my surgery would be so expensive, I had to go through Kaiser, which if anyone has truly experienced such, they know what a nightmare that was!But I didnt give up the fight. Dr. Dickman personally called me in Colorado to go over my MRIs and discuss any concerns i had. I was kept abreast of everything he was going to do, and his nurses called me in colorado after my surgery to check on me. Dr. D was excellent!

My wife had surgery performed by Dr. Dickman. Everything went very well until the bill for services were paid. At that time she was dropped like a hot rock. On her May 8th ’09 visit and there after the doctor and office staff filled out paper work for her short term disability payments in such a way that made her ineligible for the last three weeks of disability payments. The doctor’s responsive was “we entered the information in our computer and we can’t change it”. My wife was released to go back to work even though she is still in severe pain. If you choose Dr. Dickman, be very careful how his office handles your insurance forms. This could happen to you.

He thinks he's a rock singer. Pathetic! Staff was rude and so was he. Cancelled my appoint 3 minutes after meeting with him. During the appointment he continually drummed his fingers on his desk.

The epitomy of the arrogant physician. Does not prepare for appointment by reviewing materials he requires before seeing you. Canceled my appointment while I was sitting in examining room because he "forgot" to tell me to return with MRI. Required I get Xrays and make extra trip (80 miles round trip) to drop them off. He didn't want them for my appointment, only the MRI which I had been given by his nurse and returned to where it was done, and not told to bring. He had the MRI in his possession for two weeks prior to previous appointment.
