Dr. Lawson is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. I hate to say this but it does matter what city one goes to when they see a doctor. He was rude and did not listen or even care about what was causing my problems. All he wanted to do was give me muscle relaxators "somas" and "ultracets". I told him that I was allegeric to somas and that ultracets cause seizures in 10% of the cases. The reason why I know this is because i work for FDA. I could not take somas because previous experience he ripped up the prescrition in front of me and told me that I should not be telling him what to prescribe myself. All i wanted was medicine not muscule relaxars. Dr. Lawson wasted two hours of my time and I hope that it doesn't happen to you. In today's times its hard to find a good doctor. Just don't bother with him. I only saw him because i was injured the day before and he was the only person available to see last minitue. Singerly Jacob Smith

I used to see Dr. Lawson when I was a kid (I'm 40 now), so I know for a fact that his office has NEVER been renovated. This fact has no direct impact on your medical care, but it's quite unpleasant to go to the waiting room and sit in a broken chair. Mauricio, the assistant, is wonderful, but I despise the rest of his staff. They are very discourteous and chastize you for calling to request test results, berating you with "quit bugging us, we'll call you when your results are in." My husband got this once and then they called back 5 minutes later with the results, which proved that results were in fact in and we didn't deserve that treatment. Dr. Lawson himself is pleasant and knowledgable, but many times he's failed to follow up on things he said he would. They don't take credit cards which also contributes to the stone-age feeling in this office. If Lawson had a good staff in a pleasant office I might still be there, but that's simply not the case.
