After having Polito for a doctor for years I finally had enough of his front desk people they are rude and condescending. When I questioned why I couldn't get my blood work done before appointment so we could discuss the results the older women became so nasty and I received a letter from these clowns that Dr. Polito will not see me any longer because I questioned why they double dip with office visits I could do one visit they want two so they can bill Medicare twice!! Beware!!

Great doctor but he doesn't respect your privacy . He actually speaks to other patients about your personal information and goes by what they say how to treat you. He does not disclose what was talked about, but changes his approach to your treatment based on his conversation with another patient. Never asked for my side of the story. So beware

Dr. Polito worked with me for over five years, trying to figure out what had happened after I had mono. He worked so hard to help me; he was generous with his time, and he was compassionate. I recommend him highly. He is a caring man and that's what doctors should be!!!

I first went to Dr. Polito for sleep difficulties. All of the staff and recommendations were very good. I now have him as my primary doctor. Dr. Polito and his staff have administered for a variety of situations of which I'm very satisfied. I'd recommend this doctor to anyone. They handle billing easily making the insurance maze quite a bit more managable.

I have been seeing Dr. Polito for about 3 years, and have had an excellent experience with him. He is courteous, respectful, caring, always remembers the details of my case, is open to alternative medicine, and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I think Dr. Polito went through a bad time at Sansum, thus some negative reviews. Now that he has his own practice,he has the time to truly dedicate himself to his patients. I hope that people considering Dr. Polito will not be discouraged by former bad reviews, and will give him a chance. He is an outstanding, caring doctor; a rare bird these days.

I love Dr. Polito and his entire staff. He listens, follows up for routine blood work, and will spend as much time as I need. He made a mistake on the dosing of a drug, took FULL responsibility which was a breath of fresh air and we have a terrific doctor/patient relationship. Everyone is rushed, makes mistakes, etc. but I would trust my life with him (I have) when push comes to show. Great guy, terrific staff.

Dr. Polito offered no new information or resources, everything he discussed in my appointment is available on MayoClinic.com. I mentioned a concern that I might suffer from PMDD which triggers anxiety-related sleep problems, a disorder I had to explain to Dr. Polito. He said because of my gender, it was natural to suffer from severe depression and detriment to my quality of life every month. Next, Dr. Polito erroneously explained that even after days without sleep, my body will fall asleep when I need to. His recommendation was to stop being nervous about falling asleep, and that a new perspective would do the trick. Finally, Dr. Polito promoted the use of topical lotions to increase hormone production, which he "doesn't know how it works, don't ask me." If I wanted an untested supplement, I would have gone to the grocery store. Dr. Polito offered one gem of advice: when my life becomes less stressful, I could try going off sleep medication.
