Dr. Kranzler perform two lamintectomy seven years apart. He did a Awesome Job, he and his staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The first time I had the surgery I was afraid that it would not help nor relieve the pain. But I was wrong I felt better. I Highly recommend Dr. Kranzler and his staff.

Dr kranzler performed a lamintectomy on my spine to relieve pain i had due to spinal stenosis his surgery was a failure i now have sciaica of the spine and nerve damage besides the excruciating pain from the spinal stenosis my life is ruined dr jranzler just kept saying i would get better it was a big lie!!! His staff are all rude especially the head lady i dont even think she is a nurse we called her the bulldog sge would discuss your business in front of everyone there was no privacy i also had to have a referral every appt i still have billing problems due to them

Dr. Kranzler performed brain surgery on me back in September of 1998. I was 18 years old. I remember him being very kind towards me. I am eternally grateful for saving my life. I was in so much pain due to the headaches I was experiencing at the time. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I remember going back for a followup and he made me feel better since I developed a complex due to the scar on my skull. With my hair, nobody can ever suspect i underwent this procedure. My comment may go unnoticed, but I just wanted to tell him thank you.

Dr. Kranzler was the doctor that was on duty the night that my late grandfather was rushed to the emergency room after becoming immobilized in his apartment complex pool. He was diagnosed with a slipped disc. The surgery he performed on him for the slipped disc left him in disabling pain. He was much worse after the surgery. Dr. Kranzler had no explanation for why my grandfather was in so much pain for months after the surgery. He eventually went to another nuerosurgeon who said that the surgery was not done correctly. He intended to have this doctor correct the problem, but had a massive stroke a few months after the surgery. I believe that the pain and stress he endured after the surgery contributed to the stroke as well. On behalf of my sweet, beloved late grandfaher, I want the world to know the unbearable pain that this doctor caused him. He is a terrible doctor and I advise you to run the other way.

I can only judge this physician on a "non-visit." Disabled, in longstanding (years, now), searing pain, referred by his own ER (Illinois Masonic) due to a complete collapse in my leg, secondary to (what turns out to be) nerve root entrapment and radiculopathy. I made an appointment, explained that though this began as a workers' comp issue, I am now disabled and under Medicare. No issue - at the time. Gathered up all my cds and reports, prepared everything as asked, showed up early. Was told that because this was originally a WC case, even though I had medicare, they would not see me unless I paid out of pocket. When I said that when I booked the appointment, this was all known, I was met with the party line. When I sked, "why would I do that (pay cash, not exactly on me at the moment), when I am insured," she simply repeated the party line. This is a doctor who apparently cares for little else but almighty cash. I cannot but give the lowest possible appraisal.
