36 years old when first starting infertility treatments , 6 insemination attempts.Wasted 2 years with Dr Mayer ...then he gave up and sent us to a specialist on uterine septums,DrYeko, he told us it was a good thing I I didn't get pregnant with the insemination attempts because I would have ended up with a ruptured uterus. DR MAYER WASTED OUR PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY ...BIGGEST MISTAKE AND REGRET WE EVER MADE ...

Dr. Mayer is a fine doctor I guess. He is supposedly one of the best IVF doctors in area, but I wish I didn't leave his office in tears every time. First, the offices are totally disconnected. No communication between them. I have to initiate ALL contact. I called to ask about lab results only to find out I was supposed to have procedure that no one mentioned!!! Even after procedures or consultation with Dr, there is no continuity. I left a procedure knowing nothing more than when I entered simply because it seemed NO ONE cared to explain anything, even when I asked questions. I like his non-invasive approach, but dealing with his office has only made TTC more painful, disappointing and exhausting. Constant followups are necessary and have never received a copy of my lab work despite asking multiple times.

The worst OBGYN visit I've ever had! My 10AM appt didn't start until 11AM. All my paper work was lost and I had to fill out a dozen forms all over again. During my exam the staff member couldn't make the equipment to work. So 3 other people came in the room, while I was laying on a table "wide open", to figure out what was wrong with the equipment just to find out it was used incorrectly. My consultation( after the exam) with Dr. Mayer was interrupted twice. During the second time I was asked to wait in the waiting room for the doctor to come back. Dr. Mayer answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns along with giving me some very deceiving information, that made me very anxious. Later, I discussed the situation with SME, who felt that Dr. Mayer didn't have all the information about the subject and therefore his statement to me was unethical and very unprofessional. Needles to say, I am not going back.

Saw Dr. Mayer for the first time today. He took his time to explain everything, asked all the right questions, said he wanted to stay away from surgical options which other doctors told me I needed. He was patient and listened to me and answered any and all my questions. This is the first time in a long time I didn't leave an office in tears and felt reassured that I made the right choice in him.

Great doctor I wish I could see him through my whole pregnancy. I wish all doctors were like him. He is always on point and explains everything. I have never had to wait a long time and his assistant Crystal is great too!

Dr. Mayer is great! Very knowledgeable, patient, and concerned about ensuring I understand everything he is explaining! I have gone to TRMG and had so many bad experiences that I wish over and over that I had seen Dr. Mayer from the beginning! I also agree that I cannot imagine Dr. Mayer 'only wanting your money.' He seems very genuine and willing to accommodate (if possible) to avoid exuberant, unnecessary charges. The staff is really great, too! Appointments seem to be easy to come by, the staff is competent and polite. The nurses actually return calls and promptly!
