Dr. Vana is trying his best. He is very kind and fun to talk to, as he is quite chipper. That's good to me. However I wish he would spend more time with his patients. I get it, he's a doctor and has MANY people to see and take care of. There is only so much time in the day, and he has his own life and rest to attend to. I would say he is a good doctor overall.

Love Dr. Vana. Frustrated with the inability to speak to a human being to assess a situation promptly. Phone tag with a nurse who is busy with many patients just doesn't work well for either the nurse or the patient.

Dr Vana is top notch, he takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns and doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry to move on to the next patient and leave the exam room. If he doesn't know the answer to something you ask, he finds out and lets you know. He is not impatient whem dealing with a senior citizen who may have many questions or need clarification on procedures and why they are needed. His office bills the insurance for you so you don't have to worry about it. If you need to get in suddenly because you have an acute illness the office staff will fit you in faster than most any other doctor's office will. He has great "bedside" manner and is very personable with a great sense of humor too. A great doctor for young and old alike. Oh, and being a woman...he is pretty easy on the eyes too....not that handsome is something to look for in a doctor but it is a nice bonus. He has it all, knowledge, sensitivity, concern, integrity, a sense of humor and empathy!

I am extrememly pleased with Dr. Vana. I don't wait long in his office and when I do see him, he doesn't make me feel like he is rushing out of there. He really takes the time to listen and talk. When my husband moved to Nebraska and needed to see a dr, I told him to see Dr. Vana and even he was pleased with his appointment and enjoyed his almost comedy like attitude. I certainly won't be changing anytime soon.

not only is DR.VANA a very good doctor,i believe it is just as important that is is a good person,he never makes you feel belittled,and is will listen to what you think, he is also tooo cool,kind, he makes our 2 boys right at ease, my 3 older chrildren who are grown and out of the house still have kept him as their doctor,thanks for all you do for our family doctor V

Dr. Vana is a kind and smart Doctor whom my children (3 &4) adore. They are never afraid of visits, in fact enjoy going. He treats patients based on the individual patient, not according to what a text book says. His staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend Dr. Vana to anyone :)
