Dr Thomas Moore was an ER doc on staff at Baptist East Hospital. Dr Moores lack of knowledge, compassion and concern for a patient presenting with distendeded abdominal area, in seveve pain, lapsing in and out of consciousness would have cost me my life, had my neighbor, a well regarded internist not been alerted and demanded Dr Moore call in a consult. Dr Thomas Dedman had to perform emergency exploratory surgery on me, since Dr Moore did not even follow proper procedure known to even a first year medical student, and found my formerly perfectly healthy 47 yr old colon had twisted, become necrotic by the time he was called in and could preform emergency surgey, and he had to remove 3/4 of my colon. Had Dr Dedman not been an excellent surgeon and had he not known me personally for 13 years, I would have either died (much like what happens to dogs and horses who get bloat) or at best, I would have had to wear a external fecal collection bag the rest of my young, athletic, excellent career oriented life. Dr Dedman was able to perform a colon resection with what little colon I had left, I was in Intensive Care at Baptist East Hospital for over 2 weeks with an NG tube for the only nutrician they were able to provide me through numerous IV lines. It took 3 mths recooperation time and I was left with horrible scar of 9 inches in length down the middle of my abdominal wall. Upon research, it was discovered that Dr Moore was not even certified in Emergency Medicine, had lost his license in another state and somehow gotten an ER job as a contract doc with BEH. My advice, stay as far away from this, now reinvented GP, as you can.

Dr. Moore, I feel, doesn't take the time with patients as he should. He always seems to be in a big hurry...

Dr. Moore is one of the best primary care physicians I have ever seen. He takes a lot of time, listens, and gives you a chance to ask questions. I have referred several friends to him.

We love Dr. Moore. We have referred several people to him. He is so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, with his switch to Baptist East and our new insurance company, he is no longer covered under our insurance. I hope the next insurance company we have, Dr. Moore is covered, we really like him.

Visited several times, explained problems over and over, never helped. Prescribed medications I told him did not work, still prescribed them. A nice guy, but did not help me in my case.

Dr. Moore is very caring and compassionate with his patients. His office staff is friendly and helpful and there is never a long wait to see the doctor. Dr. Moore is always interested in what his patient has to say and usually offers options for treatment, allowing the patient to have input in his/her treatment. The office has xray capabilities and can address most any minor emergency. If referral is necessary, Dr. Moore will not hesitate to make a referral.
