Big pusher of replacement hormones when likely unnecessary and risky. Questionable on this doctor

Yes, I have had to wait for an appointment and wait awhile in the waiting room, but Dr Arendt is wonderful. She listens and is a good communicator as well as being very knowledgeable. She has done surgery on me and the nurses in the hospital said that if they were having surgery she is who they would go to.

I've been seeing Dr. Arendt for several years. I've always found her to be a wonderful listener, open minded, and a clear communicator. I'm so thankful that I found her!!! I used to see her in Kirkland, but Bellevue is closer, so I go to that office now.

Warning. Every time I went to this womans office she attempted to charge me for services and/or procedures that were never done. She does not actually see you but rather has a series of interns see you. She prescribed hormones right out of the gate and did not think it was necessary to test me to see if I actually needed them. I went to a different provider for a test and found that I did NOT need them. Money out of your pocket and into hers is all she cares about.

Dr. Arendt is the most compassionate, knowledgeable caring doctor I've ever had the good fortune to encounter. I've been her patient for 10 1/2 years and never been happier. She performed a hysterectomy for me, got prompt assistance for me for a bad infection I got when Evergreen's nurses left in staples, and just was amazing throughout the treatment and recovery. I still see her, still get attentive, absolute holistic care. Yes, she does tend to run late (though much less so now than in the early years where she did practice obstetrics also. But in fairness, babies that decide to be born come first AND the flip side is that you get the type of care you only dream about after a wait. She is there, just for you, during your time with her. Intense focus and thoroughness. I'd rather wait a bit for that kind of care. If you want a call center environment, where the doctor rushes you through, stops listening after the first minute or so, then she is not for you. If you prize quality and time, then she's your pick!

Dr Arendt is a wonderfully skilled and compassionate DR. I have had to have serveral vagainal reconsructive surgeries, and she has been wonderful thru every single one of them. I have had to wait in the office for 45+ minutes for an appointment. But I personally had to go thru about 8 GYNS before I found her and I will happily wait for her. She is a great DR and I would recommend her to anyone!!!! She truly will sit and listen to any problems and care about what you say. I think she is just AWESOME!!! LOVE HER!!!

Dr. Arendt performed surgery on me to fix a botched hysterectomy by another doctor. She was so kind and understanding, took the time to answer every question, and did an excellent job "putting me back together again." I would highly recommend both her bedside manner and her surgical skill.

Dr. Arendt is a very competent doctor and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist. I have been a patient of hers for 10+ years and have received nothing but exceptional care. She always listens and involves me in the decisions making process. For the person who gave negative feedback, you must have your doctors mixed up because Dr. Arendt doesn't do and hasn't done obstetrics for many years.

Dr. Arendt is a fantastic physician. I would question the negative poster's motives, since Dr. Arendt doesn't even do obstetrics. She specializes in surgery and urogynecology. I've been her patient for 7 years and wouldn't consider anyone else. She listens intently and explains thoroughly. She is a true healer.

If you are pregnant, then she's fine. If you are not, then don't expect this doctor or the clinic to care about you at all. I've had to wait 45 minutes for an appointment, and I've had to wait 6 months for an appointment. Don't make my mistake!
