I saw Dr. Bridges today, she was very knowledge and spent a lot of time (we almost felt bad how long) answering all of my questions and explaining stuff in a way I understand. I was stressed going into the visit, but she was calm, confident, and skilled. She did not downgrade my pain and she listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend her!!

Dr. Bridges performed an endometriosis excision on my wife late last year and, in the process, knowing that we don't want to have children, offered to remove her tubes which my wife accepted. She said it would be no big deal and take her an extra 5 minutes... What she didn't mention was that it would cost us an additional $1,800 out of pocket. So now we're stuck with this unexpected bill. It's truly disheartening that money often wins over real care and integrity.

I will note that she did good work with the procedure. There was nothing wrong with her staff or punctuality but I can't justify anything more than a 1 star overall review - This experience made us lose all trust in her so my wife will be seeking healthcare elsewhere.

I'm a bit surprised Dr. Bridges is rated so well among OB/GYNs in the Seattle area. I recently had my first appointment with her and was sorely disappointed by her patronizing approach to care. Despite one of the first sentences out of my mouth being that I'm not actively trying to have kids, she used almost the entirety of our appointment talking about things I could try to have a greater success at conceiving. I had to repeat several times that I'm not actively trying and still ended up going down the same rabbit hole with her.

I made it clear both in my intake form and to her staff what my questions were and yet when she got to my appointment she seemed to have a full agenda of things she wanted to talk about instead. By the time we had 5 minutes left in our appointment, I felt like I had to forcefully ask the questions that I wanted answered and, in the end, most of those questions were brushed aside.

On top of her lack of attention, Dr. Bridges also treated me like a child in our appointment. She talked down to me for the ENTIRE appointment. It got to the point where, without any prompting, she literally started explaining how periods work. I'm almost 30 and felt humiliated by her assumption that I had no idea how periods work at this stage in my life. The whole conversation felt insulting and every time I asked her a question, she would give me a totally unrelated answer that brought us back to the topic of actively trying to have kids in the next year. She even ended the appointment telling me to come back in if I'm not able to conceive after a year of trying, which solidified how little attention she was paying to what I was saying.

To add a cherry on top, I later read the summary notes from our appointment and they clearly misrepresented why I made the appointment and what we said when we were together. By the time I read my summary it was abundantly clear that she wasn't even trying to listen to what I was saying during our time together.

I am eager to find a new doctor and definitely wouldn't recommend Dr. Bridges for anyone who isn't currently pregnant or actively trying—especially if you look even remotely young. I'm not sure how she is once you're actually pregnant, so it's possible that's where all of her good ratings are coming from, but after this experience I don't intend on sticking around to find out.

Went in to see dr.bridges for my first pregnancy, first of all she is way too busy to see you, what's the point if im going to see your nurse and not you? Secondly, she missed to write a very important test for my 12 month scan, a parents nightmare. .and tried to blame game on technician s, and how it wasn't a big deal..it was the NC blood test at 3 month which IS a big deal. Another thing that pissed both me and my husband off was that she assumed I was Indian..like why would u assume that only coz of my colored skin...did not feel a connection with her due to her non chalant attitude for missing the blood test...if my child is born with an abnormality huge such as down syndrome who am I to blame for not knowing that at 3 months? Thank God we did ivf and a cell free dna test later but still. This is a huge incompetency. Dont waste your time and visit a competent Dr.

Ann Bridges does not have deep knowledge in her field and more concerned about the payment rather than her patients' health. She does not read patients' medical histories and does not listen to them carefully trying to establish the reason of a condition. I have had her as my provider for a couple of years and after I realized that she is a failure as a professional, I was happy to switch to a different gynecologyst. Do not waste your time if you care about your health and look for a doctor elsewhere.

I had my first visit with Dr. Bridges, I feel shes very knowledgeable, but don't have time for her patients, don't read their charts before the actual visit, too rough!!!!..ive had make doctors with huge hands that were gentle.shes rushing to get to next patient, (more money greed)focus too much on payment type. Sense prejudice, which is sad, we dont condone prejudice in Seattle. I immediately changed doctors. Sound like she was upset that my husband and I waited til the age of 42 to have another child, I thought that was my choice.

She is wonderful! I felt very comfortable with her, right off the bat. Friendly and didn't seem rushed, thorough. When I went back, she took the time to review my chart before coming in. It bugs me when the doc comes in and downs down to your chart as if they have no idea who you are or what your history is. Very professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Bridges since about 2005/6. She is always very chill, laid back and always seems like she has a ton of time. I was surprised by some reviewers who didn't feel this way, but my experience with other doctors was more rushed and like I always asked too many questions which I have never experienced with Dr. Bridges. She is awesome and I recommend her HIGHLY!

Dr. Bridges was my dr. for my first 2 pregnancies. I think she is a very smart dr, but I felt rushed in my appts. At one point one of her office staff told me she only could spend 10 min with me even though my appt was scheduled well in advance because that was the maximum amt of time Dr. Bridges had for every appt. In my first pregnancy, Dr. Bridges could not find my son's heartbeat at 12 weeks. The best the Polyclinic could do was send me home and schedule me for an ultrasound in the late afternoon the next day. The next 24 hrs was excruciating. After a post-delivery problem with my 2nd child, that Dr. Bridges couldn't find yet my current dr found in 5 min, I decided to leave. That problem required follow up surgery so it wasn't a little issue that would clear with time. Overall I think Dr. Bridges is smart & caring, but perhaps subject to organizational constraints on her time that impact patient care. Try drs associated with Overlake - you'll be happier.

Dr. Bridges is a great doctor--she's very competent and warm without being unprofessional, which is how I like doctors to be. Her nurse is great, too. I haven't been to a better doctor in Seattle.
