I am 3 months post op for the removal of a spinal synovial cyst that was particularly large and in a bad location, very painful and incapacitating for someone with an active life style. Dr. Kuflik was recommended to me by another orthopedic surgeon who had Dr. Kuflik operate on HIS back. I couldn't think of a better recommendation and I am pleased to say that my procedure was 100% successful and I am already back to a normal routine. My experience with Dr. Kuflik personally was excellent, complete and accurate explanations, never rushed, and I must also say as well, a wonderful experience with the entire staff at Mt. Sinai... if one could call having surgery wonderful... this was it.

In 2013 I met Dr. Paul Kuflik who told me that my scoliosis curve had increased to 60 degrees and was worsening every day. Doctor Kuflik explained the procedure and told me what to expect both during and after the surgery. His confidence and compassion had solidified my decision that I had chosen the best man for this surgery. The procedure was to fuse my lumbar, thoracic and a portion of my cervical spine. I found his explanation of the procedures, the post op experience and the journey through recovery to be completely accurate. It's now 8 months post op and I must say that I feel fantastic. My pains are virtually gone and I'm slowly gaining back muscle and flexibility. I've told many people that Doctor Paul Kuflik has the hands of God. I would recommend him to everyone.
