Arrogant. The staff is horrible. They don't let you talk to the doctor on the phone after you have seen him. They make you come in for an appointment. I was told I had cancer and went home and had questions after I had time to think about it. They wouldn't let me talk with the doctor! The staff and nurses are awful!! don't got and waste your time. There are much better doctor out there.

Horrible office staff and questionable doctor. He did not do a good job packing my sinus after surgery which was done on a Wednesday. By Friday I did not have enough Vicodin to get me through the weekend and was in serious pain. I called to get a refill and they told me I had to come into the office because of the nature of the drug prescribed. I got there at 4 and, to my chagrin, they close early on Fridays. By Sunday I had to go to the emergency room because the gauze was coming down my sinus into the back of my throat causing me to choke. The ER doc snipped off enough to stop the gag reflex, but 20 minutes after getting home, I was choking again, I took matters into my own hands and pulled the gauze from my sinus down the back of my throat and out my mouth. Once in Vener's office on Monday I told him about me experience pulling out the gauze. He laughed it off "You did 50% of the work for me" He did not offer a 50% discount, but I should have asked. You have been warned!

I have taken 2 of my children to see Dr. Vener. He has not preformed any operations or procedures, just observations in office. I see doctor Vener as a knowledgeable and experienced ENT who like most surgeons has an ego and gruff bedside manner. Dr. Vener is caring and attentive when his mind is not elsewhere. I like him enough to keep going back, but I would get a second opinion on diagnosis especially since he has other specialties besides ears. Also it should be noted that the wait time can be up to 45 min in the outter waiting room. Not the most fun place to be with sick kids.

This doctor performed an unplanned and unnecessary operation on my tongue. He removed so much I have trouble talking. I got a miracle that he didn't find cancer while on the operation table. There was cancerffound in a frozen section biopsy. But a good ENT told me "I didn't need surgery, I needed radiation therapy. The radiation could shrink the cancer, then use chemotherapy. If the cancer was still present it would be smaller and less problem removing. I did that and the cancer disappeared 3 weeks into radiation. I still talk poorly and have trouble with what tongue dr. Vener left me with. I'm just glad of nothaving him finish the job.

This docter is so very rude, arrogant, and condisending. He is not interested in anything you have to say and when you do insist on speaking about your important concerns he completly DISMISSES you, speaks to you like a child.I try to convey my symptoms and get some knowledgable dialoge he treats you like you are wasting his time and that these symptoms are all in your head,he is the expert and you are not to ask questions just here him and get out. I am not sure if he just does not know the answers so he dismisses you or to actually have to think about your case and diagnose might be just to much effort because he has a waiting room full of patients just waiting to pay for easy in and out. This was not my first visit the other times were equally as bad.It is apparent to me he is there for the fast buck my visit was all of 10 min./$340.00 Like the above post I too noticed the Botoz and fees. His prices are outragous.I wonder if its just Women he speaks to like that very upset

Best ENT ever. I dismiss all the negative comments below as people who just didn't get the answer they wanted; kind of like a rude customer at a restaurant.

Overall fantastic experience! Dr. Vener was ready to see me at the time I was scheduled, he listened to my concerns, discussed the diagnosis and treatment and was very helpful and caring. I cannot imagine why the two prior ratings were negative. Maybe they came from patients who saw the Doctor on a busy day or maybe they were having a bad day themselves. I for one will highly recommend Dr. Vener.

The whole experience was a big waste of time, money, and effort. I received nothing helpful or useful from the visit. I had to pay a higher co-pay to visit him because he's a specialist. I noticed that posted on the wall was a list of charges for services his office provided, such as copying paperwork, faxing prescriptions, etc. (as well as a list of services not provided). The prevailing theme throughout the waiting room were advertisements for Botox-which seemed strange for someone who was listed as an ENT specialist. He seemed to dismiss me and my problem. When I questioned him about something I read regarding the issue I was having, his response was arrogant and not helpful. Perhaps this was just my experience, but I'd recommend going to someone else.

Arrogant. Maybe smart and knowledgable. I wouldn't see him for payment regardless of his knowledge. Suggested that if I had better coverage, I had a perfrctly good PPO, I'd get better treatment. I doubt he knows what better ttreatment is.
