I had a terrible experience with Dr. Gruss. I went to her for probably a total of 10 years, which was fine when I had no issues or concerns. Then, when I began trying to get pregnant (using a sperm donor), Dr. Gruss failed me completely. She failed to diagnose a large fibroid tumor that another doctor found immediately on pelvic exam. This tumor would have interfered significantly with carrying a baby to term. Because Dr. Gruss missed this significant problem (which symptoms I had been describing for years should also have led her to), I wasted months and thousands of dollars trying to get pregnant working with her and her staff. I am thankful that: a) the tumor she missed was not malignant; b) I found a fertility specialist who helped me to have it removed; and c) I did manage to get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby at age 42, several years later. All I can say is: stay away.

BEWARE. I was given a procedure I did not need. The billing and clerical staff are incentive, rude and incompetent. They do not return phone calls or emails.I went here for 3 years for annual exams and always had a long wait and hard time making appointments, but I never had any real medical issues so it was fine. After having one I immediately switched doctors. DO NOT GO HERE. If there was an option to give zero stars I would.

Staff isn't so hot (they act like they are curing cancer), but Dr. Gruss is a knowledgeable, gentle woman who makes you feel a little more at ease during an uncomfortable pap. Honestly, if you want someone to hold your hand and be super comforting to you- bring your husband/ boyfriend.

Dr. Gruss was very unhelpful, I was in pain that I believed was caused by endo. She discounted this, and said that the only way they could diagnosis this was through laproscopic surgery, and "they probably won't find anything" "you just have bad cramps" I lived with this pain for years. After not being able to tolerate, I went to another doctor, and the endo had gotten so bad, they did a total hysterectomy. If she just had paid closer attention, SOONER WHEN I SAID I WAS IN PAIN, perhaps this could have been avoided.

I have been going to Dr. Gruss for several years and have found her to be a wonderful caring doctor. When I was worried about a lump, she saw me immediately and was concerned but reassurring and the specialist she sent me to confirmed that she was exactly right in her diagnosis.

I found Dr. Gruss to be helpful and knowledgeable. She referred me to a great specialist after diagnosing my condition. She took time to answer my questions and acted in a professional and compassionate way.

I found Dr. Gruss to be very thorough, professional & friendly. Her pre-exam consultations are helpful, she's great about answering questions, and she's gentle and very communicative during the physical exam. I used to dread gynecological checkups until I found her through my last insurance network. She makes it quick and painless.

Dr. Gruss does not have the best bedside manor--she didn't smile in general and when I cried in front of her she coldly handed me a tissue. But she was very well-informed on my condition and she answered all my questions fully and patiently (and believe me, I've got a lot of 'em). She wasn't the friendliest lady, but I did feel like I could trust her.

Dr. Gruss was incredibly impersonal. She didn't even look me in the eye the first few visits. She halfway diagnosed a condition I had so I eventually had to see a specialist to get treated again. I switched doctors as soon as I could.
