Dr Lieberman does not take the time to listen to my opinion..Normally the wait once inside of his office is 20 minutes..He then rushes in and rushes out as if he is running a assembly line.He bores me each visit about the fact that he once boxed Muhammad Ali in a sparring match..Talks more about his boxing practice at gym and how he beats up younger boxers (I doubt it).

Dr. Lieberman has been my physician for 10 years and is the best doctor I have ever had. He gives you the information that you need and his knowledge surprises me every time I have an issue. He’s a straight shooter, yeah, maybe he's a little brash but your doctor should tell you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. He likes to joke around and know you personally. He keeps detailed notes on every visit I've had on the computer. He knows more about my aches, pains, and problems than I can remember.

Dr. Lieberman has been my doctor for 7 years and in that time he has always been very forthcoming with answers to my questions and taken good care of me. He is always ready to give whatever time you need. I would refer Dr. Lieberman to anyone who wants a doctor who cares about them as a person, not just another patient.

Dr Lieberman has been my PCP for almost 10 years- I've referred my brother, mother, stepfather and many friends to him... so I trust him with my life and my loved ones. He provides excellent patient care and sure, a little humor sprinkled in. If you're looking for someone to throw meds at you, go to another Dr... it's not his style. He will take an integrative approach to your diagnosis and treatment. And if its not his area of specialty, as he is an Internal Med doc, then he will refer to a specialist. He's been in Tucson a while so he has a great referral network. It's pretty entertaining to read these reviews on here- just read between the lines and you'll understand that it is usually the critic who has the issues. Like the guy who then went to see a different rheumatologist, Dr Lieberman is NOT a rheumatologist! Ha- complainers. If you're looking for a Dr- Dr Lieberman is as good as it gets

After a few months under Dr. Lieberman's care, I felt worse than I did before I went to seem him, yet I completely recovered after transfering to a different rheumatologist. In addition to being unhelpful, Dr Lieberman was unsympathetic and callous. He laughed and treated me as if my problems were unworthy of attention, when I asked him for assistance to alleviate my intense pain and discomfort due to what was originally diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis. Based also on other patients' comments, the man is self centered and not intersted in helping anyone but himself and his image.

Protocols are so bad that they never receive records needed for patient care (and they never know it), and thus they never communicate those primary dx's to other medical professionals that need them...especially another doc...too many people and too little medical care...

Dr. Lieberman is the doctor I've been looking for all my life! He listens to me, if I have more than one prob at a time, he doesn't insist that I book 2 apptmts (as my previous doctor did), he knows the best folks in various fields to whom he can refer you, and he has a great sense of humor! Yes, he does sometimes relate a personal story...and that's fine because I feel like I'm having a conversation with a friend as opposed to being talked down to or lectured by a high-and-mighty doctor. I am so surprised to hear the negative comments, as I was referred by my daughter, who thinks he's terrific, and she's referred several friends who also think he's brilliant! I'm happy to have him for my doctor and I've referred more than one friend/colleague to him.

Dr Lieberman is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to hear your concerns. He is a "character" from Philly with a sometimes brash way of interacting, so he may not mesh well with some, but he's been my PCP for almost 10 years, and I actually enjoy interacting with him.

Dr. Lierberman took a personal call during a physical and then went on to tell me about the personal problem he had been discussing on the phone. He did not listen to answers of questions he asked, and seemed to want to get the visit over with as quickly as possible. He forgot to order bloodwork he said I needed, until I reminded him, forgot to call in a prescription and does not return calls nor does his assistant who guarantees calls returned in 24 hours. I am currently on the wait list for another doctor. This doctor is self-important and smug. Yuck. Of course he is accepting new patients; he probably has a very high turnover rate.
