Dr. Lipow is a great doctor. He has performed surgeries on my father, husband, and I sent a few friends to him and they all rate him a 10!!! Not one issue with any of their surgeries. He is the best I know.

Terrible staff is horrible while they were telling my about the 2 month waiting period they were smiling and laughing while I had crazy pain horrible experience with them

Ruined by life. Walked into the hospital but couldn't walk out after back surgery for a herniated disk. Ignored me when I told him my foot was like a block of ice. It increased 2 shoe sizes. He just kept giving me high does of steroids and telling me I was making too much of this. There were other problems that he just brushed off. I developed Avascular Necrosis (AVN) and reflex sympathetic dystrophy RDS). I would never use him again but if you choose to, make sure you have an advocate or he will never listen if you try to tell him something is really wrong. He thinks he knows everything so if he won't listen go to another Dr. right away. He might be a good Dr. when everything goes as plans, but if it doesn't please listen to me.

I am a 23 year old patient of DR.Lipow and i have seen a few DR's do to my Herniated L5/S1 Disc. They wanted to cut me open right there on the spot.My mother had the same problem with her back 6 years ago,and saw dr.lipow and he gave her backsurgery and she has been fine ever since.. NO PAIN!! Can you believe That???! Since i have seen DR.Lipow In August of 2009 he wanted me to try every thing but surgery cause of my age and said sometimes the disc can heal through Physical Therapy. Since i have been doing that it has not helped me.So now the next step is to do a Lumbar Nerve Block.. If this fails then i have to have the surgery.. This is the only man i trust since i hurt myself on the job in FEB of 2009.. God Bless this man and his staff. I have great Faith that this man can put me back on a Motorcycle after this injury heals... That is my dream to jump back on that bike.. Thanks Dr.Lipow and lets hope this works!

Dr. Lipow was a great doctor. He prescribed Percocets and Valium that were stolen by my now ex - wife yet still was a gentleman and ordered more for me. He fought for me when my Ex told my job that I was faking a very horrific back injury. This was all to make me lose a settlement in a WC suit. Needless to say she was found to be a liar. All in all Dr. Lipow is a Dr. who knows his stuff and wont take any crap from anyone. Not even a veangful ex wife. He is human and showed his human side. I am forever in his debt.

This is one of the best doctors in CT. He truly cares for his patients, and is not one of those dr.s who only wants money. He will not operate on you if he doesnt have to. I had to have 2 emergancy back surgeries in 2007, and he was the only person I trusted. I saw 3 nerosurgerons before him and knew he was the one to go with. This dr is an excellent doctor. He is the best and if anyone is thinking about going with him I will highly recommended.

I love this guy . He is my hero . Not only did he help me out and solve my back problem . He did it with the ut most professionalism. He is a great man, hes funny and i would recommend him to anyone. He also sticks it to workmans comp and doesnt give a hoot what they say. He lets you heal when you heal. God Bless this Man. Love You Doc.

Dr. Lipow performed spinal surgery on me in 1993, after I severely herniated a disk (L4-L5). His surgery and the subsequent physical therapy he prescribed (with Dr. Horner) proved to be fabulous! Within a few short months, I was back in great shape. Now, 14 years later, I can look back and speak very highly of Dr. Lipow's skills, and the great care I received from his staff at Bridgeport Hospital and the Trumbull Physical Therapy Center. I am an avid cyclist, and continue to enjoy my sport pain-free!
