The worst service. Couldn’t honor my appointment for a high risk pregnancy because they had to wait a week from the insurance to pay them. Never again

Dr. Munarova delivered my 2 kids. I’ve been with her for more then 12 years. She is very knowledgeable and caring and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs OBGYN.

I have been seeing ob/gyns for over 20 years. Dr. Mayya Munarova does things differently in her office, and not necessarily in good ways.

I was led into an exam room with 2 assistants and was asked to remove everything from the waist down and to cover myself with a gown. I said okay, thinking that they would give me time and privacy to do so after they finished asking me questions about my medical history. About 3 minutes go by and they were still asking me questions, and again, one of them told me to undress. I realized that they wanted me to undress in front of them while they were gathering information from me. I refused, asked them to leave the room to give me a few minutes, which they did.

Dr. Munarova came in to see me, finished, left the exam room and I started to get dressed. There was no lock on the door. The doctor then tried to come into my room without knocking to hand me a prescription or something and I blocked the door with my hand to prevent the door from flying open, especially when there was a male receptionist sitting across from my room. Yes, she hires male receptionists - another thing I have never seen in an ob/gyn's office.

Before I left the office that day, I was told that someone would call me in two weeks to discuss my test results. However, I got a call 1 week later to schedule a follow-up. Follow-up for what? To get test results? After I hung up, I got another call and a lady apologized that not all the test results were in, so she rescheduled me for the following week. I asked her why I needed to take time off from work to get test results when my primary care physician and regular ob/gyn had always personally called to give me my results since they have plenty of patients who actually need to be seen. The lady from Dr. Munarova's office claimed that it was a requirement, so I complied and made it to that appointment to get my test results.

On the day of my test results appointment, Dr. Munarova's office wanted to take my blood pressure. I was not there for an exam so I refused. I saw the doctor and it turned out that they still only had results from one of the tests, not both, so I made another appointment to take time off from work again just to get my other test results. My insurance company was billed for this visit.

My second test results appointment was 10am and there were 2 other people waiting to see Dr. Munarova. The doctor strolls in through the door at 10:20am like it was no big deal, just a "hi" to everyone with no apologies for being late and no "thank you for waiting." I again get asked to get my blood pressure taken, just for test results, because "it is a requirement." Rather than argue, I let the lady take my blood pressure. I went back into the waiting room and waited more than an hour to see Dr. Munarova since there was a lady who came in after me and absolutely could not wait so she was seen before me.

When I finally saw doctor Dr. Munarova, I complained to her about needing to come back twice to get test results and that the office should have known the first time when both results were not ready yet. She yelled back at me like it was my fault for not knowing and not telling THEM. Dr. Munarova wanted me to go back for a legitimate follow up. I just asked for a hard copy of my test results knowing I was going back to my regular ob/gyn who calls me on the phone to give me my test results to save everyone's time. Dr. Munarova's office again billed my insurance company for my going in to get test results.

I have filed a complaint with my insurance company in regards to possible fraudulent claims and will speak with the state in addition.

Doctor Maya Munarova should be ashamed of herself for holding such a respectable profession, where person must care for their patients, interact with their patients and treat them in professional manner. Maya Munarova seem to forget the oath she took when she graduated medical school, she became businesswoman, not a doctor. When I got pregnant, she was the closest ob to me and since I didn't drive, I chose her to be my ob and deliver my baby.
From the first trimester she showed no concern, neither care for me and how my pregnancy was going. After I had my Down syndrome test she told me someone from her staff will get back to me, but no one has called until I reached out to her myself. Then she puts me on hold for 20 mins and then tells me results from the lab showing that I am carrying a baby with Down syndrome. She said that on the phone!!! Without asking me if I was on the street, or at work, or home alone where I could just pass out from shocking news I just heard on the phone. Half hour later I was in her office with panic attack and high blood pressure. It turned out that she opened someone else's chart and it wasn't my baby who had Down syndrome. I could of sue her for that but because our families have known each other for years, my mom insisted I shouldn't take her to court. The day of delivery, she wasn't there until last minute, when my baby's heart rate got slowed down and it was too late for c section, she decided to pull my baby out with vacuum. Baby was born with a huge bump on the head. Later on our visit at pediatrician's office, our pediatric doctor was very unpleasantly surprised how big was the bump and it could cause harm to my baby. That was second case I could of sue her but again, our community, mutual friends and family talked me out of that idea. After she dilevered my baby, she put stitches on me so unprofessionally that even after two years of delivery, I can still see the extra skin hanging down. She cares zero percent about her patients. When I stopped going to her and changed my ob, I received a letter from her office that I owe them money for visitation that my insurance company didn't pay. I immediately called my insurance and was told my insurance has been active ever since my pregnancy and they paid for every single visit I made to see doctor Maya Munarova. When I showed her staff the letter I got from my health insurance, they didn't even apologize for their error. The whole staff including doctor Munarova is so unprofessional and careless that I don't recommend her to any woman who is pregnant, or just want have a regular check up.

I understand that some might have different opinions because we are all different people but I found Dr. Mayya Munarova to be an excellent doctor. This is my 4th child and I've been to different doctors with my first 2 and I can honestly rate her to be the most censer, educated, and very warm and kind, especially the rate i'm in being pregnant. She actually cares about her patients as appose to other doctors I've been too that just care about the next patient after me . Her staff is very welcoming and patient just like she is. Always on top of everything and same goes for the manager (Daniel) . I'm very thankful I was recommended to her and would not change my ob/gyn for anything considering its so hard to find a good honest doctor these days. Thank You, Doctor Munarova & staff !!!!!

I went to Dr. Munarova when I found out I was pregnant and returned because I was spotting a little. She checked me for 5 minutes and gave me bed rest for two weeks and said not to do anything. She told me to use progestorone suppository cause I might have a miscarriage. I asked why I was bleeding a little and she said she didn't know. She put fear, stress, worries and I didn't even cook or eat healthy those weeks. I went to another gyn for 2nd opinion and was told it was old blood. I would recommend a doctor that knows what they are doing and care more.

I had a feeling that she wanted to tell me "don't give me a headache, I do not care about your problems". She either has no knowledge or simply does not wanna do anything. She is focused on money/insurance cards but not clients. I am glad I got another gynecologist. The only plus with her office is that you can get an appointment for the same day you call. But what's the reason of going there if you will not get adequate care.Another plus is her staff. Seems they are more concerned about your health problems than her. I would not recommend MAya Munarova to anyone.

Excellent experience.I love her as a doctor, as a person for her kindness, sensitivity, knowledge and the way she treats her patients. She dose her job with all her heart. I will never believe that she could do c-section without any indication for it. In fact she saved me from c-section. I will highly recommend her as a OB and GYN
