I have been seeing doctor Hinitt and other members of her staff for over 13 years. She is extremly knowledgeable about various medical conditions and never rushes you out if you still have questions. Her staff is excellent , the majority have been there a long time and are extremely helpful in getting appointments with specialist.I don't mind a occassional wait to get a doctor and staff that cares.

I used to like Penne. Now Penne is gone. I think I have only seen Dr. Hinitt once in two years. Her new PA, Rochelle, is totally unprofessional and overbearing. I brought in information for her and she barely looked at it. I have had waits of up to an HOUR, even when I'm supposedly one of the first 3 patients in the am. How in the world do you survive when you start the day out an hour behind!? The phone is rarely answered in a timely manner. Expect it to ring until it goes to the hold music, and to wait at least 5-10 minutes listening to a badly tuned local radio station EVERY time you call. In their favor, the office is good about providing samples of medications.

Dr. Hinitt is very knowledgeable but I like Penne her PA the best - she's friendly but professional and doesn't try and tell you anything but the truth.

The staff told me that my appointment was on a certain day and time, wrote the day and time on a card, and input it in the computer as a different day and time. Incompetency. I showed my card at the supposed date and time of my appointment and was excused. Another patient was seen before me, even though the mistake was the fault of the clinic. PA showed lack of professionalism and a "god complex" common with inexperienced doctors. Quick to diagnose, slow to listen.

Dr. Hinitt was my physician for about four years when I lived in San Antonio. She is knowledgeable and very thorough. I have nothing but good things to say about her and her office staff.

Dr. Hinitt is a very good physician. She is very thorough and discovered a thyroid condition that had previously gone undiagnosed. She is not afraid to take on difficult or complicated patients and usually spends as much time as you need with her. She also has a wonderful Physician Assistant named Penne. Penne is a terrific PA who will spend as much time as needed to help you with a difficult diagnosis. Penne is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. She is warm and friendly and very thorough. I see many different doctors due to a chronic medical condition and Penne truly stands out among all the medical staff that I have ever worked with. She and Dr. Hinitt make a formidable team and I highly recommend them.
