I’ve been seeing this doctor for about a year. She is anti-benzodiazepines which is great because my GP prescribed it without knowing 100% how it affects you. Her staff is quiet but effective and that’s i care about. Her nirses are very sweet and helpful, and if they’re unsure of something they immediately go to Dr. Brown for advice. If you have insurance the fee is pretty low ($25 for me). She herself is knowledgeable and she’ll listen if you have concerns about your meds. Her desk is fine? I have no idea why that is relevant to a doctor’s competence. They’ve helped me reach stability. My suicidal thoughts and hallucinations are almost gone. The longest I’ve had to wait was an hour. Her diagnoses helped me explain my situation to others and come to terms with. I’d recommend her. Mental illness is very hard to treat.

ZERO STARS! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SEEING THIS DOCTOR.
Incompetence, disorganization, grossly inflated billing practices, and arrogance are just a few of negatives I experienced with this office. Dr. Brown is anti-family and does not work in a cohesive manner with the parents of her teen patients. She adds to conflict instead of helping. Do you have any idea what it is like to have a teen patient actually get worse after every visit after "talking" with Dr. Brown? This woman has a bad attitude. She should stick to writing prescriptions instead of attempting to counsel any patient because that is clearly the reason any patient would continue to see her. She has an awful bedside manner, speaks with contention to everyone including her staff, but yet has little to no positive influence on their organization. Her desk is a disaster and she never knows what is going on in her office. The wait times are extreme and the doctor is frequently late, too. Go elsewhere!

Made an appointment for my daughter and traveled 40 minutes to arrive at her office. They checked us in a normal process and then we waited 50 minutes before her name was called. (occurred on June 5, 2015). And then I am informed that the doctor is not accepting new patients on this particular day, and there must have been a miscommunication during the appointment process. I can tell you that it doesn't get much more frustrating than this. To allow us to wait 50 minutes in the waiting room for the doctor and to bluntly give us this information? And when I complained it just fell on deaf ears.

I wanted to bill the doctor for a couple of hundred bucks for the inconvenience which I doubt she would ever pay. I thought about the sign that claimed a $35.00 charge for no shows. What do we get paid when a doctor does not show?
