Dr. Wagner has both strengths and weaknesses. She is easy to talk to and very conversational. However, she lacks knowledge in important areas and unwilling to do the research to acquire it. She is also controlling and has difficulty accepting when things do not go her way. She is often late and never apologizes.

Dr. Wagner works hard to find medications that will help, with the fewest side effects. She's personable, has good boundaries and is engaged with you as an equal partner. She helped eliminate my depressive symptoms and addressed some problematic behavior.

I saw Dr. Wagner for 2.5 years due to treatment resistant depression, and she had me try soooo many medications, I felt like a year and a half of my life was wasted. After I decided to see another psychiatrist, I finally got out of my depression with THE SAME REGIMEN THAT HAD WORKED BEFORE, which Dr. Wagner did not think was useful to try again. I am angry that she was willing to put me on everything under the sun--6 meds at a time at one point!!--but she didn't try the most simple solution. Also, when I had crises come up DURING her treatment, she was rather cold and uninterested in what happened...she was much more comfortable talking about what my childhood was like. I would not recommend Dr. Wagner to a friend. She wasted years of my life.

Dr Wagner is very kind and compassionate. She is quite knowledgeable and is a very good listener. She is the first Psyc I have felt comfortable with.

Dr. Wagner is wonderful. She has helped sort out and work through issues that I have had for a long time. She is kind, a good listener, but also good at giving feedback (doesn't just expect me to do all the talking), and seems to truly care about me as a patient. She is also very knowledgeable about various medications and their benefits/ side effects. She is the first psychiatrist I have found that is good both from the medical and talk therapy standpoints. A few others I have seen seem to only want to do the med side and refer me to someone else for the talk therapy which has been inconvenient at times and also frustrating because I like the person who prescribes meds to know the whole story, not just see me once every 6 weeks and write me another prescription after barely talking to me. I highly recommend Dr. Wagner.
