This doctor came in to my room at the hospital, patted me on the back while smiling and said: "you have hiv buddy" and turned and left without any description, no tcell count, no comfort, he just left me in a ball of tears on my bed. I felt like an animal all alone and his smile cut me deep. This "man" was examining my stomach in the room were four friends. Without ANY warning he pulled my pants open and exposed my genitals for all to see. I wouldn't let this man examine my cat let alone a person. I have never been so humiliated in my entire life and being diagnosed with this illness is hard enough. The last thing you need is a cold man treating you this way. BEWARE!!!!
