As another healthcare professional, I selected Dr. Kalafut based upon her experience and the information presented in her video introduction. Unfortunately, in the initial appointment I had with her, Dr. Kalafut barely acknowledged or looked at me because she chose instead, to complete her clinical notes on her laptop. The few questions she asked me were fundamental, at best; not at all well thought out, as I would have expected. She was not interested or engaged in me, my neurological condition, or providing any new or helpful treatment options. Dr. Kalafut was simply going through the motions. I will find another neurologist, one who shows interest, compassion and empathy.

My first visit with Dr. Kalafut went nicely. She took plenty of time reviewing my history before turning to the exam phase of the visit. We commiunicated well and she seemed to be on top of the issues.

She rushes through the exam like she is working at a drive thru window. I did not get any help from her.
