He is a great sales person that makes you think he knows what he’s saying but it’s just sales. He ruined my feet. I’m in constant pain and it’s been ten years post op. Like the other person said in their review, when I first had negative surgery outcomes he ignored it and it could have been fixed if he fessed you to his errors and sent me to a pain management specialist after surgery. A few months later he admitted he cut the bone in my toe in the wrong spot and should have cut it in a different spot. I think he drags things out so the statute of limitations is over to sue him. I can’t wear any shoes I used to wear. It hurts to walk on a treadmill or elypyical and even sneakers hurt my foot. I’ve been told by other doctors that I need a second surgery for years now but I’m too scared. Turns out the foot issue was caused by referring hip pain and the foot surgery wasn’t necessary. I now have more neuromas in foot and painful stump neuroma and the hammer toe he fixed it hammered again at the tip and so bent that it doesn’t fit in shoes and it hurts at the base. I have never commented on a doctor’s surgery or visit before, but felt I needed to in this case. Dr Katchis ruined my foot. I had bunion surgery and bone fusion on one foot 2 years ago. I am in constant pain. It was a very long recovery. Other drs have confirmed the problem, But i cannot go through a surgery again. So very disappointing, as he was highly recommended. He had said he would fix it, but I don’t trust him. I hope others will make a wiser choice than I did. I definitely do not recommend this surgeon

WORSE DR. For patient caring in the business,all his employees telling me how they work so hard.Each blaming the other,like a pre school who dont get bonuses.BUT THEY ALL AGREE ON 1 THING DR.STUART KATCHIS IS TOTALLY CLUELESS AS TO WHAT GOES ON IN THE OFFICE ! I'm dieing in pain all the Dr says it's the Insurance Co but his employees had already as apologized and told me my surgery was approved 2 days after I left. But until I called them 11 weeks passed without nobody contacting me.
I cant get my surgery scheduled but I can make 1 call at any moment and get all the OXYCODONE I WANT NO QUESTIONS ASKED.KEEPING ME IN PAIN AND DOPEING ME UP. WRITTING OUT PRESCRIPTIONS LIKE HALLOWEEN CANDY,NO PROBLEM AT ALL JUST COME AND GET THEM !! Yet his whole staff complaint about THE CHEAP CHRISTMAS BONUSES HE GIVES OUT !
This Dr runs a staff who all hate each other,wont help out the patient even when the patient is in front of them.Saying he was supposed to call you not me,its not my job,wait for him to come from his break.NOT ONCE BUT ALL THE TIME THE SAME MESS. Dr Stuart Katchis runs a totally UNPROFESSIONAL practice at the patients expense.Patient caring DONT exist here.
7 weeks for an X Ray approval I waited Dr blames insurance Co. 11 weeks surgery approved nobody called me to schedule it .Dr blames the insurance co.HE IS RUNNING A CLOWN FACTORY !!!!

I was about to send Dr Katchis' name to a friend who is interested in foot surgery and thought I'd check his hospital title on Google prior to sending along the information. This site was listed, so I opened it. How shocked I was to read the really negative reviews! Dr Katchis came very highly recommended to me and,















after consultations with a few other physicians, I chose him to perform surgery on my foot (bunion + another toe, same foot, same time) in 2015. I couldn't have been more pleased! His entire demeanor, and care, both prior to and after the surgery were top-notch! All interactions with his PA at the time, Adam, and his office staff were also excellent! Following my positive experience, I recommended Dr Katchis to a friend who had operations on both feet, at different times, and also with stellar results and experiences as mine. I realize that each patient's situations is different, and I find that the patients with negative experiences are sometimes the ones that write critiques, to warn others away from potentially bad results. Kind of like restaurant reviews. Though it's been over 3 years since my surgery, I felt I needed to add my 2

After many surgeries foot problem has escalated to where walking without pain is almost impossible. Bedside manner and staff are wonderful, but surgeries have not helped.

This is the worst patient caring doctor I ever met.
Lost my paperwork for 11 weeks approved already for surgery.Dr Katchis crew had no idea who I was, AND WHY I was calling.This happened several times.BUT HE WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE PERCOCET YOU WANT, 1 CALL NO PROBLEM ! JUST COME IN.

They lost my paperwork for surgery 11 weeks it was filed in his draw until I called. Than his whole staff didn't know why I was calling.I had to call them they asked what is this about ! Dr Katchis blames insurance co every time. He doesn't t know what goes on in his office.
Go to the Hospital for Special Surgery.Or a VETERINARIAN CAN DO MORE FOR YOU THAN DR.STUART KATCHIS. HE WILL PUMP YOU WITH OXYCODONE, OR DRUG OF YOUR CHOICE.RUN AWAY NOW ! They lost my paperwork at least 5 or more times while continually called.I am crippled today because of not taking care of it properly.He changed the person who does paperwork 4 times in 1 year while I was there causing massive confusion at the patients expense, PAIN & SUFFERING !

Dr. Katchis did an excellent job with my surgery. He was very caring and compassionate. He understood my injury and explained the process to repair it. He also took the time to learn what I was doing so that we could work on a rehab that was effective for my work and activities. No issues with scheduling or insurance.

Dr. Katchis left me in crippling pain in both feet. He was to remove bunions on each foot. I came out of surgery with a wide "V" between the first and second toes. I stupidly allowed him to re-do the left foot. Foot came out worse. His bill was $66K!!! I was living on disability but made monthly payments. Dr. Katchis sent my bill to a collection agency, when, out of anger, I stopped paying! He never responded to my letters. His "assistant" spoke to me threateningly, like a thug. When they realized I really had no money the billing stopped. This scenario began in 2009 and ended in 2010. The only fix by another surgeon was to have my left big toe fused. The surgery on my right foot was unsuccessful. From 2011 until present (2014), I have lived in excruciating pain in the right foot. Altogether I had 3 surgeries on the left foot and 2 on the right. My new surgeon explained the mistakes Katchis made. This creep made into Best Docs!! NEVER see this doc.
