I had a change in health insurance and had to find a new gynecologist. I have some medical history so I was anxious to start fresh with a new doctor, but Dr. Mieszerski made me feel absolutely comfortable from the start. Office was cozy and inviting, and all staff were following very careful PPE protocols due to COVID (one patient at a time in building, face masks on all people). During our first appointment, she took the time to sit with me in her office and learn all about my medical history & current issue. Within a week, she reviewed my test results and resolved my concerns. She's knowledgable, personable, and an excellent physician - definitely would recommend for anyone in the Putnum Valley area searching for a new doctor.

Dr Miezerski helped me through high risk pregnancy. No one else I'd trust with my life or the life of my baby's. She's caring, thoughtful and proactive. She's the best and her patients are lucky to have her. Wish she could be my dr for everything. No one I trust more

I am 23 weeks pregnant and in the process of leaving this practice. There have been a number of hiccups but this past week was beyond the pale

Marge, one of the nurses, was incredibly rude- almost confrontational, to me regarding my FMLA paperwork, insisting that my request for it to be completed with approximate information regarding my delivery (since I haven't delivered yet) was "not going to work" despite the fact that I confirmed repeatedly with HR at my company that it would be accepted. She never asked what I did or where I worked- and then completed the forms as if I was looking for only short term disability of 6-8 weeks post-partum and not the full FMLA time of 12 weeks.
In addition, I have been waiting over 3 days for a phone consult with Mieszerski. Thankfully its nothing urgent.

In addition, I have had multiple appointments cancelled due to various reasons, including being scheduled on a day the office was closed and at the last minute because of a provider calling out without any coverage. I have also had to request multiple times that orders for standard tests be written.

I do love two of the midwives at this practice. Ronnie and Kathleen were amazing- and there is a receptionist who is always lovely. Unfortunately the hassle of dealing with these other issues and the stress that comes along with it- is not worth it at this stage of my otherwise easy pregnancy.

Dr. Miezerski is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and a lovely person. She has thorough experience with twin births and makes the right choices for her patients.

After my first visit with Dr. Mieszerski, I will NEVER see her again. She was rude (to me and my husband), judgmental, critical and ignorant. I came in as an informed woman and she scoffed at my research. Her bio states that her interests include natural childbirth, but after meeting her and hearing her opinions in the 5 minutes she spent with me and her lack of knowledge about something as simple as a fetoscope, I would be afraid to have her present while I was giving birth.

although this doctor is right on time and answered all my questions at the time of my visit I would never go back there again. she showed no compassion and when I had called at a later time I never received a call back, all I kept hearing from the nurse and receptionist is that she is busy seeing patients an would get back to me. I ended up in the ER because of an ovarian cyst and needless to say didn't go back to her to follow up. I now have a new ob/gyn in mt. kisco. so I would not recommend anyone going to her unless you want to be treated as just any other patient.

DR LAURA MIESZURSKI US THE BEST DOCTOR I EVER MET. SHE HELP ME WITH MY TWIN BOYS BIRTH AND SHE EXLPAIN ME AND MY HUSBAND EVERY STEP OF THE PREGNANCY AND WHEN OUR BABIES WHERE SHE WAS THERE TO CLEAR ANY QUESTIONS WE. Dr. Mieszerski is the best Doctor that has ever treated me. I went to her when I was 8 weeks pregnant with my first child and she was the one I saw at each appointment and for his delivery. She was informative and took time to explain things. She did ultrasounds to let us see the baby and that he was doing well. She respected our choices as parents to be, and explained the pros and cons of different courses of action. She knows what she is doing, and she does it well. Our experience with Dr. Mieszerski left a lasting impression and I am sad that she will be unable to be at the birth of our future children, since we moved away!

I went to see her for treatment of endometriosis and PCOS. Though I did not ultimately seek treatment with her b/c as she herself admitted, "wasn't an expert", I think she is an excellent OBGYN. I am still pleased that there were small touches that made this so much better an experience than it usually is. For ex. she had complimentary sanitary pads etc in the bathroom. Additionally, there was a nice hanger for your clothes in the exam room. There were also lots of informative pamphlets all over the waiting area. It all gave an impression of care. After meeting Dr. Mieszerski it becomes clear that the care is all hers. She listened to my complicated & long story, and even though I ultimately decided that I needed an expert for my advanced disorder (she suggested a dose of Progesterone that I believe to be too low to be of help), I still recall this as very positive. I was treated empathetically and not just as a problem to treat.
