Dr. King performed a Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion on me in Jan 2022. He was excellent. He explained all of my options and listened to me. He was very personable and at least 3 nurses (in different places in Blake hospital) mentioned how lucky i was to have him for my doctor! I agree and he personally called me after each scan of my back (pre-op & post op) to let me know his opinion. Ii am now 5 weeks post op and feeling good again. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone!

Unprofessional staff. The check in woman was unprofessionally chewing gum, as well as the nurse who checked me in. They were all apathetic, couldn't care less, which leads me to the King of them all. Dr. King was an arrogant S.O.B. who recommended physical therapy for someone with a ruptured cervical disc! Seriously! Put someone in more pain, while they are already in pain!? Idiot.

DO NOT GO TO DR KING. He was referred by my doctor who now says they will no longer use him. I had a little trouble finding the building and was 10 minutes late. I called a few minutes before to inform them. When I got there the receptionist asked to reschedule because Dr King left and said he had other things to do. I said that I was only 10 mins late and he left? How disrespectful, you have my MRI and know my situation and he doesn't find it important. I take it as a blessing, who wants a Dr operating on their neck who doesn't seem to care. My spinal column is no joking matter to me Dr King. You are a joke, your staff is a joke. I will not say what your receptionist said about you because everyone needs to work. After reading all these reviews, I am glad Dr King is not my Doctor. Advice: Stay Away!!!

agree that staff issues are a factor in this office ans perhaps staff should do their job in which the patient wouldnt feel hung out to dry.on more than one occasion I was made to feel this.explanation of follow up appts are not staff issues but Dr. patient issues!

I always said I would never have back surgery. It became necessary and it was a good experience thanks to Dr King. I was told by other medical providers that Dr King only did surgery when it was the last resort. In my case it was true. He walked me through each step and answer all the questions. After three months he declared it success and he is right. Everything he told me was absolutely true and he was always very honest with me.

You need to bypass the scheduler if you want any service here, the nurse wanted to see me and again Pam or Pat (sorry forgot the name) fell down on the job. First would not schedule me, then would not return my calls. My primary doctor wanted me to be seen by the doctor who did the surgery and Doctor King is a great guy but when dealing with people that give you such a difficult time, specially when you end up needing further surgery then I would suggest you did not even start here. When you are in pain, are hurt, or need help find a support staff that will help you and this would not be at Dr. Kings office. This could be very critical if you need major surgery such as myself.
