Terrible doctor!!! Just horrible,nasty,run down and filthy rooms.
He has absolutely no connection with patients. If I could rate him lower than 0 I would. Please !! If you need the services try like hell to find another doctor in another facility. Just nasty and depressing!

Feel very confident with Doctor's knowledge and abilities. When asked, he relays pertinent information. The secret to Dr. Akhtar is asking. He doesnt openingly volunteer information. By the same token, he doesnt reframe from answering.

He does not seem to spend much time with each patient. You have to ask to speak to him. At those times he does seems like he knows what he is doing. But he Hooks you up to your Chemo & then you are on your own. Leaves the room & when there is a problem you have to wait for his only nurse(??) & she has to go get him. Needs to upgrade Chemo Room like new comfortable chairs. Has 6 regular wood kitchen type chairs that are not comfortable to sit in for 2-3 hours & has 4 nasty looking used lounge chairs. He seems to be all business and maybe needs a better bedside manner course. When I ask questions of his nurse, she asks him & comes back & tells you the answer unless you can corner him while he is running in & out of the Chemo Room.

He didn't answer any of my questions. Very rushed. No good.

didn't respond to questions. left room quickly. can't verify his certification as an oncologist

He seems to be ok, but he does not answer all your questions very well..and you have to ask him for test results and sometimes you do not get an answer. But I guess he is a pretty good Dr.
