She misdiagnosed me saying I didn't have breast cancer. Never biopsied me and then refused to send my patient info to my new doctor office. I left a review on FB so she took down her entire FB office page. DO NOT go here.

Her treatment of someone in pain, was horrible!! To tell a patient, 'they are too young to be in this kind of pain, and then not treat the pain, is mistreatment!! She sends her patients to an ultrasound facility that overcharges and does tests that are very expensive and not included as part of the copay, so you pay out of pocket for an $800, ultrasound!! She made an appointment to give the ultrasound results , rather than call the patient, so they can pay another expensive copay. However she stated that she never received the ultrasound results, (that would have shown a painful cyst on the ovary). she just did some more tests but still did not treat the pain and stated you are too young to be in this kid of pain???

I visited Dr. Gottfried while I was pregnant with my second child. At my first appointment we discovered I'd had a miscarriage. She wasn't terribly empathetic, and a week later when I questioned if perhaps I just wasn't as far along as I thought, she very reluctantly let me have another ultrasound. It turned out she was right, but I was stunned by how terrible she made me feel. It's like she didn't like her authority being questioned and I wasn't allowed to do my own research or have different opinions. Every time I have called the office to ask a question, voice a medical concern (like bleeding for a month and a half), or schedule an appointment or my D&C I have never once gotten a call back. The receptionist always tells me she will pass the note along to the dr who will then give me a call, but it has never happened. The rest of the staff treated me very coldly, and I had to go back each week for blood tests. Every visit was miserable because it was a reminder of my loss, and not one person seemed to care for me as a person. The only positive experience I had was when a nurse (for the other doctor who works in the same office) came out and comforted me after my second ultrasound. Besides the staff, the office is not child-friendly (no toys, games, tv, children's books/magazines), and for the entire month I went there, the windows were never cleaned. You could tell kids had wiped their nasty hands all over them, right above the chairs.

The staff (except for her personal nurse) were rude, short with me, and quick to put blame on the patient when there's fault. I was talked down to by the phlebotomist and she intentionally kept 'fishing' when I asked for a butterfly needle after she couldn't get it with the regular size. The doctor was quick to roll her eyes and tell me I am gaining too much weight (I've only put on about 10 lbs), that I am choosing the wrong hospital, she didn't talk to me about what to look out for or prepare for (kicks, movements, pains, exercise, foods, etc.) then told me I was wrong for doing my research on the subjects and got short with me. I've yet to give birth, I have 10 weeks to go but I will definitely not be recommending her to anyone. In fact, I urge anyone who is considering her to keep their options open. I fear for my birthing experience with her and it's too late to change doctors.

My first pregnancy and I was referred to her office by my insurance because I asked for a FEMALE MD. I've came to her half way thru my pregnancy because she was closer to my house. The check ups were so awkward, she hardly talk and every concern I had she said not to worry(no help). I was dilated 2cm at 35 weeks and she didn't tell me ANYTHING about what to look out for when I go into labor. I always felt rushed for my check ups. I was only in the room for 10 mins everytime. Then my water broke and I called her office and they told me to go in to OB triage. Than the thing is that pissed me off is she sent a MALE doctor to deliver my baby. I do not recommend her to anyone and I won't go again to this office.

Waited in exam room over 45 min. (half dressed and covered with a paper sheet}. Never did see the doctor. Finally got disgusted and left. Receptionist still wanted a copay. My husband said: "FOR WHAT"? "All you people did was weigh my wife and check her blood pressure". Nurse said: "Dr. Gottfried will be right in". The ofice was not busy (just one other patient in the waiting room). No excuse or explanation was given to us for the delay. Husband filed a complaint with our insurance company (HeathNet). We gave this Dr. one star because you don't have a "no star" rating.

Dr.Gottfried is absolutely amazing. She delievered all 4 of my kids. I had a problem with a nurse during my 1st labor and Dr. Gottfried took her aside and told her to respect my wishes. During my 2nd labor, I almost needed a blood transfusion and she was quick to take care of me. I also had problems with my 3rd needing hospitalization and again Dr. Gottfried never failed to bring me back to health. I trust her with my life now. I didnt take her quietness as cold, more like shyness. But she and her staff are so caring and passionate!! With each of my pregnancy I was determined to be her patient and refuse to be with anyone else. I was a pregnant teen and never felt judged by her or staff. I lost coverage and the office worked with me until I was covered again. I sincerely will recommend her to anyone!!

Dr. Gottfried delivered my son. During my prenatal care, I was very well looked after and had a great, uneventful pregnancy. I had all the necessary things taken care of to ensure a healthy baby and delivery, and was very blessed to in turn, receive that. Dr. Gottfried knows exactly what she is doing and was there for me whenever I was unsure or hesitant about something (new to me, not to her). She is a great Dr. and took great care of me for the full year I received care from her. :)

Dr. Gottfried always knows just what to say and do. She is very professional and you can tell she loves what she is doing. Her staff is very sincere and you can tell they love what they are doing. She is easy to get a hold of if you need something anytime of the day. She isn't there to be your best friend people. She is there to take care of you and your needs and the health and well being of your unborn child! Keep up the great work Dr. Gottfried and staff!
