Ths Phys needs to understand no one has time for the manips of his staff. Other areas look as pretty as Valparaiso though manage to do so with more honest and helpful means. Im a health care wrkr also if you cant prvd what your oath dictates of health in every area at least dont try to manip other peoples personal and legal cases. I bsclly am not from Valpo though Ive been in the area 2x. I am from Munster, College in Fort Wayne Warsaw and Bloomington also licensed in Santa Barbara. Obviously the area is still reflecting its paranoia of its nbng county you really can be a pretty town like other ones using more honest means towards others prof and psnl goals glad to be from Munster orig where we have earned it and gone even much farther to better, prettier and more advanced honest places.

I took my son (infant) to him and he seemed quite uncaring about his stomach condition. This condition can cause serious problems down the line and he honestly did not care until two E.R. trips later when a doctor there confirmed our (my husband and I diagnosed child before office visit) diagnosis.

When i first seen DR.Ames I was impressed with him and all of his staff, but as time went on you learn alot first problem try to call his office and good luck getting threw to anyone leave a message and you are lucky to get a call back if they do call, it has took them up to 3 days for a call (glad i wasn't dying).I was seeing him for chronic pain. and i am sure people reading this think oh a pill head but no not the case all I have to say is look around at the people waiting and listen to what they talk about.

Basically, as I was telling him the side effects of the prescribed medication, he was writing a new prescription for me of the same drug. I had already been taking it for about five weeks and I was worse on it than I was off of it. I truly got the impression he didn't "care" as a doctor should for my true well being. As I have looked back, I believe he is making more money from the drug companies-"kick-backs" I think it' called- and it has clouded his bedside manner. I looked around at the people in his waiting room, there are a lot of drugs being prescribed at this office. I do not take any drugs, and I took my health into my own hands with diet and exercise. I look back on my horrible experience with those prescriptions and am disgusted to know how some doctors are really in it for the money and not truly helping people.

He said I was fine. I went for a second opinion and that doctor ran more extensive tests and learned that I had a chronic disease which required medication.
