Horrible horrible doctor. I contact his front desk staff before my appointment to give them my insurance information so that I can be billed correctly since this was a Obstetrician visit and I had been informed by my insurance company to do so. I was told by the person I spoke to that the first visit would be billed as normal (with a copay and all that comes along with it) since it had not been established I was pregnant but all subsequent visits would be billed as pregnant (no copay).
I arrived at my visit promptly and saw the doctor rather quickly. He asked for some family history and asked if I was keeping the baby. I said yes I was and proceeded to give him my info. He asked when my last period was I told him the date and when I tested. He then said angrily I had tested too early if my cycle was 28 days. I said a. my cycle is 26 days and b. I'm never late and was 2 days late at that point and I had taken a test the week before the visit as well. At the time of my visit I was 6 weeks along. I was asked to change for the pelvic exam which was extremely painful unlike any other I have ever experienced. He also withdrew blood and asked me to dress. At which point I asked no sonogram and he said no. My husband came in to see the doctor after the exam as he had been asked to wait outside. After he told me my due date, date of conception and end of my first trimester he tells me he no longer delivers babies.I was floored I told him so you wasted my time what was the point of this. He said well women who are pregnant and dont keep the baby come see me. I said ok but I told you i was keeping the baby why waste my time. He said sorry for the confusion. He said well these tests were necessary and once you find another doctor I can fax over the results. I said no confusion I called your front desk staff and explained to them why I was here.
To add insult to injury now that I'm trying to find a different doctor because this doctor ran the test no other doctor will see me until i'm almost at the end of my first trimester. Even though no sonogram was done. For all they know I can have an ectopic pregnancy or carrying twins which requires extra and immediate care. This doctor is a con man. Only out for money and has no regard for his patients. Please beware and avoid at all costs.

I honestly have no complaints about Dr. Young or his staff. His receptionists are some of the nicest I've experienced at a dr.'s office, I've never had any trouble making an appointment and have always been seen within 5 minutes of arriving. Dr. Young has a professional and warm bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything, never making me feel rushed. He delivered my baby last year and throughout my whole pregnancy and delivery, made me feel like a top priority the entire time. I highly recommend Dr. Young to everyone!

Have been seeing Dr. Young for regular gynecological checkups. Was very helpful in recommending a new OB upon confirming my pregnancy.

I have been going to Dr. Young for about 9 years. I have always been satisfied with his care. He delivered my baby and was great during prenatal care and excelent during labor. I highly recommend him.

After going from doctor to doctor I've finally found one that I love. Very knowledgable, answered all my questions. Spent a lot of time with me and diagnosed and cured a problem that my previous Gyns had missed!

I have had a great experience w/Dr. Young. He was reccomended to me by a friend. He is professional and curteous. He was able to see me same day even though he was fully booked when I had an awful UTI. I am not from NYC and was nerovus about finding a good OBGYN. I am thankful I found him! His nurses are very knowledgable about insurance issues and very friendly!

The doctors secretary called to let me know unfavorable test results. I guess the doctor was too busy to deliver such news to his own patients so instead I get blind-sided when I am at work. He has given me a hard time about the times I am avilable to come into see him and I often felt put on the spot. Further, I have has to ask him about vaccines such as the the HOV vaccine which I saw in a commercial. I would think an OB would RECOMMEND this type of service to their patients. I have switched from using him and know two other patients who have recently moved as well. I would NOT recommend Dr Young to anyone.
