Dr. Leighton is absolutely amazing! She is BY FAR the best, most compassionate doctor I have ever seen. I had a very complicated GYN issue and had gone to several other GYNs in the past who could never figure out what my issue was. The first time I saw Dr. Leighton she made the correct diagnosis, got me the right treatment and the problem is now resolved! She has changed my life and I will forever be grateful to her!!!

By far, one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to visit. Considering so many toads now in the profession, this woman is highly professional, skilled, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, witty, compassionate, nicely but completely tells it "like it is." I couldn't ask for more from a great doctor. Highly, highly recommend this doctor--who, by the way, is in the perfect profession for what she brings to the table--great care for women!

Dr. Leighton is a great physician. She made me feel very comfortable - like I've known her forever. She is down to earth and really listened to me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor in the Midcoast area.

Dr. Leighton delivered my baby at Midcoast Hospital last month (my doctor was on vacation). She was absolutely wonderful! I plan on switching my full care to her for my next baby!!!

Dr. Leighton immediately made me feel comfortable the first time I saw her. She was very professional and very patient. I didn't feel rushed through my appointment and had time to go over everything. My second appointment was also great and she had clearly gone over my chart before I arrived because she knew my history. I would highly recommend her as the best doctor I've ever been to. Go see her and you will not be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Dr. Leighton to anyone who is seeking a compassionate and competent gynecologist. She was very accommodating during the pelvic exam. She wanted to ensure that I felt comfortable because I mentioned that my first exam had been after a sexual assault. While that incident was seven years ago, I still find the exam to be a very traumatic experience. She was very patient and good natured throughout the process. She receives my highest recommendation.
