Avoid him. Destroyed my fathers life and was unhelpful post surgery when things did not get better. Punted him off to a pain management specialist but reality is he is much worse off than when he started and Dr Holman has no accountability. It’s very sad

I recently had a nine-level spinal fusion performed by Dr. Holman. He took all the time needed to explain the procedures needed and thoroughly answer all of my questions. My walking was significantly impaired prior to surgery and 8 weeks post-op I'm walking 5 miles per day with little pain. I cannot recommend Dr. Holman highly enough.

Dr. Holman performed a complicated multi-level fusion on my back in July 2013. I had reached a level of extreme pain & could barely walk. Tests showed that my spine was moving side to side & front to back. Recovery period was approximately 3 months, but after that the pain was much better. I highly recommend Dr. Holman if you need a complicated back surgery - he is awesome!!

I saw Dr. Holman for pain caused by an existing condition. My visit was on March 25th, during this time Dr. Holman told me I was a candidate for spinal fusion and requested I have some X-rays. After the visit and after my condition worsened, it took 2 weeks of back and forth calling and emailing, for anyone to recommend a next step of treatment. The next step was a visit to a pain management doctor. This was never mentioned in my visit with Holman. I even expressed my adversity to injections (had injections the previous summer that didn't help.) Mind you I had already used time off work to get an MRI and attend the doctors visit with Holman. I had the injections done this past Tuesday by his recommended doctor. Upon my return to work, I was released from my job. I am eligible for short term disability, but Dr. Holman and his staff will not help with that either.

Dr. Holman recently did a spinal fusion surgery on my L5-S1 lumbar spine. He is a delightful young, intelligent doctor with the knowledge of a much more experienced physician. I was in the most dreadful pain for over 6 months and tried everything to avoid surgery. When I knew there was no other option, I visited with 3 surgeons before making a decision. After meeting with Dr. Holman, there was no question in my mind that he was the right doctor for me. Dr. Holman explained every detail to me about the surgery and I felt completely confident with him. After the surgery, he recommended physical therapy and this has enhanced my recovery even more. I have a life again because of Dr. Holman's expertise and will be forever grateful to him. If you EVER need spinal fusion surgery, HE'S THE MAN.
