I was peterfied when I was diagnosed with cancer! I found out during an ER visit. I was given Dr. Cuevas as a reference from an attending Dr in the ER. He told my he highly recommended Dr Cuevas because he considered him a open and honest oncologist. On my first visit to his office he gained my trust, he was very positive, he told me that my quality of life was the most important thing to him. That has turned out to be very true. I have a very serious cancer and I have been his patient for 2 1/2 years and am still in treatment doing very well. He is a wonderful and unique Doctor. I would like to publicly Thank him for all he has done to keep me healthy while fighting this horrible disease! I can't say enough good things about his staff. They all feel like very good friends.

My father was first diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma (stage 4) back in 2009. Unfortunately, his tumor was impossible to remove through surgery due to my dad's age. Dr. Cuevas was able to use the right type of chemo therapy to put him in remission. This summer my dad was diagnosed with a new form of cancer: AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). Again, Dr. Cuevas and his knowledgeable staff are guiding us through this difficult journey, answering all our questions, taking our many calls during the day as well as after-hours, making us feel at ease, knowing that dad is in the best hands possible. Thanks to Dr. Cuevas, Debbie, Alicia, and all the wonderful staff at St. Louis Cancer Care.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. My surgeon referred me to Dr. Cuevas. He met with my husband and me before my surgery to discuss potential treatments. He answered all of our questions and was very patient and caring. After my surgery he met with us again to discuss my suggested course of treatment. His staff was wonderful; very helpful and knowledgeable. I saw him each time I had chemotherapy and never felt rushed or that he didn't have time to answer my questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an oncologist.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was directed to a surgeon and radiologist first. After surgery and radiology, my radiologist recommended an oncologist. That recommended Oncologist was on vacation and I had to go with another oncologist in the same office. The nurse said she would use Dr. Cuevas if she were in my situation. Dr. Cuevas was always on time and always listened to me during this diffucult time in my life. All the staff in his office went over and above in helping me through this maze. We saw medical interviews with Dr. Cuevas a few time on educational cable TV and he was always informative and up-to-date with his information.

My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer and he was our savior at a time when we knew nothing and were scared he held our hand through the entire process. We would highly recommend him.
