Be careful when you decide to join her practise! In the beginning, she looked like a good doctor but after the delivery, she forgot to change my current dose and I almost died, my thyroid level dropped from 4.5 to 0.01. I read that people with this level (0.01) may die. I got scared and changed the doctor. Thank god my family doctor find out my level after my terrible condition and all side effects.

Dr.Donat took care of me at Mt.Sinai when I had gestational diabetes with both my pregnancies and had to be put on insulin. I found her to be genuinely caring, patient and compassionate. I felt very well cared for and she is so concerned for the babies as well. She has a good heart. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent and yet humble. She is beyond an amazing doctor and I am forever grateful. God bless you Dr. Donat!

Other specialists give 3 appointments then toss me back to my GP. Dr. Donat has kept track of me for 15 years and sees us as a team to keep me from sliding into diabetic range. No medication just diet and supervision.
