The staff there are completely rude and do not care about your well being, I went in and got checked out for an injury, at first all was good, then they lost my referrel for my mri and x-ray, rather then them redoing it and sending it through, the lady asked if i could do it since i have my copy, I sent it through, the xray came back, now waiting for the doctors to look at the xray, they said they cant get to it for another week?!!! How hard is it to look at the xray, I had the insurance call them and they too said that they are rude, lol, so i would never go back there again, stay away from this company, they SUCK and dont care!

I went to Dr. Kurish for over 6 years, not realizing he had missed diagnosed me. Later I was in a severe auto accident. He did not provide adequate care after the accident. I have had many problems from it, and I now have an excellent family doctor who is very competent, has sent me to several specialists and is doing everything possible to help me. I cannot and do not recommend DR. Kurish to anyone.

He has always been friendly and listens. He gave me the option of changing my eating habits before medication and still stresses a healthly lifestyle and using medication as an alternative. The staff were helpful and always come through when requesting documentation or other assistance.

Dr. Kurish does not take enough time with his patient. He needs to take a few minutes to understand their issues. One of my relatives took their elderly spouse to his practice who had not seen a doctor for a few years. The relative had dementia. He seemed bothered that we went there and said the person was just dehydrated. A few months later she was taken to the hospital and she had lung cancer, had a stroke, and copd. He should have taken more time to access the patient. It may not have changed the outcome but the patient may have been more comfortable if he/she had medicine to manage the symptoms. Take a few minutes and try to understand your patient's needs. Also, try act like you care and focus on your patients when they come to see you. It feels like drive up medicine, move them in and out as quickly as possible.

I have been going to this office for roughly 8-9 yeears and great service and positive Dx from all specilists. I have seen Dr. Kurish, his PA Cowan, and his partner Alex Constitine and had nothing but positive attitudes and results from all.

Have used Dr. Kurish and PA Cowan for many years. I have found both to be courteous and attentive to my needs. They do not 'over-prescribe' medications. If you want million dollar healthcare go to the Broadmoor. If you want common sense care, at a reasonable cost, Dr. Kurish and staff are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend either healthcare provider to folks new to the Springs.

I agree with the other two ratings that stated the service and overall helpfulness was horrible. My husband saw Dr. Kurish on an emergent basis and was prescribed a muscle relaxer for relief of muscle spasms. Our insurance did not cover the medication and it took him two days to get the office to give him an answer about getting a different prescription covered by Kaiser. The doctor told the nurses to tell my husband that it was a one-of-a kind med and even though it would cost him almost $200 to get it filled, he couldn't prescribe another muscle relaxer. He was in so much discomfort, he went to Express Care in Colorado Springs and was treated with respect and got the attention he needed. In addition, he has been a patient of the doctor for many years and is finally sick and tired of being treated rudely with the support staff and being treated as if he's a bother and interrupting their other job duties.I've suggested he complain to the CO Board of Medical Examiners, and I hope he does

During the intial diagnosis for cancer and following treatment, I never once saw Dr. Kurish. I was referred to his PA. This is the most disgusting medical treatment I have ever had. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. And, I was charged Dr. Kurish's fee even though I was treated by his PA.
