This is the best neurosurgeon in the whole world. He brought me from not being able to get out of bed without serious painkillers (and a poor quality of life at 42) to being able to live and be a mother and wife. I could not imagine how anyone could write anything negative about him! I am not sending my Dad to him for surgery. The best. He has patents to his name. PS. I have a new disc at C-6-C7

Dr. Robinson was reluctant to express opinions and alternatives. He was to risk averse, without adequate explanation. First meeting was "wait and see", second meeting was "surgery needed" lets get more up-to-date" MRI films. Then out of left field the third meeting was "go the physical therapy", surgery probably not needed. Very confusing. When pressured under direct conflict with MRI diagnosis, ignored questions. I really felt like he was talking about someone else the third visit. He DID perform successful surgery two years ago, but I really had to pressure for the surgery. This delay caused unnecessary additional pain to lower back.

I felt he didn't go into enough details and options. He stated surgery was not really an option bwecause of the multiple problems--when called with a followup question, his staff referred me to Pain Management without much explanation--I like the dr. but feel his staff shortchanges patients with information.

Office a little chaotic at times, but Dr. Robinson is worth the trouble (of dealing with a sometimes unhelpful front office staff) to see.
