This guy was a pompous and rude. I would use stronger words to describe him but this site won't let me. I met with his resident for the first 20 minutes of the appt that I had waited 2 1/2 months for. Then the doc came in for the last 5 min of the appointment and basically told me that there was nothing they could do for me and when I questioned some of his statements, he was very defensive. The rest of the staff was very nice and efficient. But no need to go to the Mayo b/c there are plenty of other ENTs in the Valley.

Dr. Weisskopf may be knowledgeable, but he is rude to the point of mean. He doesn't listen. He preaches. He thinks he's God, and the patient dare not have an opinion or a question.

Dr. Weisskopf is very thorough when testing in order to reach a diagnosis. After much testing to determine what I had, I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraine, something pretty similar to Meniere Syndrome. It was a huge relief to finally know what was going on. I also have hearing loss, and am currently wearing hearing aids.

My son has had ear and hearing issues since birth. Dr Weisskopf is not our primary ENT but we went to him for a surgery on my son's right ear. 2 years later, he had the same surgery on his left ear by his primary Dr. My son now needs the surgery on his left ear AGAIN so needless to saay, we will be going back to Dr Weisskopf as he obviously knows what he is doing. He also had great bedside manner with both my son and myself which is hard to find with any Dr. these days

For more than 50 years I had a perforated left eardrum and numerous inner ear infections that, apparently, destroyed much of my inner ear and hearing . I was told repeatedly by numerous ear specialists that the damage to my ear was so great that nothing could be done to repair my ear. In 2008 I was referred to Dr. Weisskopf by another ear specialist. Dr. Weisskopf informed me he was confident he could rebuild my inner ear and repair the perforated eardrum, but my hearing was damaged to the point the surgery would not improve the hearing in the ear. My surgery was so successful it has given me a whole new world. I am 83 years old and each day I thank my God for Dr. Weisskopf's intervention.

First off let me start by saying that Dr. Weisskopf walked in and asked, "I don't know what you want from me there is nothing wrong with you". Then proceeded to tell me that my symptoms would get better with time. He never listened to a word I said and kept cutting me off. To add insult to injury, without my knowledge, he removed me from short term disability and fully released me back to work without asking what I do for a living. My job requires me to work in a bucket truck aerially near power lines, underground and in excavated pits also near power. So now I am home not getting paid from work because of this imbecile. I guess he doesn't care that I have two children that I would like to come home to everyday and not have to perform a dangerous job while still being dizzy and losing my balance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS QUACK WHO HAS NO PEOPLE SKILLS AND COULDN'T CARE LESS FOR THE SAFETY OF HIS PATIENTS!!!!!

We arrived a couple of minutes before the appointment time. We were the only ones there. We were taken to a room quickly, but then waited 55 minutes listening to Dr. Weisskopf talk to the same patient in the next room. Because I had a migraine and this wait was particularly uncomfortable and frustrating, we asked the staff for an indication of how much longer it might be, and one of them said we were late in arriving. This just added to our frustration. Finally Dr. Weisskopf came in. My 96 year old mother said, "We were starting to give up." He said, without apology, that he was with a Korean War veteran listening to his amazing stories. He explained that he didn't want to be rude. While I have tremendous respect for veterans as my father was one, it seemed wildly inappropriate to keep your next appointment waiting for an hour while listening to stories. We could understand ten, or even 15 minutes, but an hour! It was bad judgement and we won't return.
