Very ignorant does not listen to questions before cutting you off and talking over you. Will raise his voice and yell. Truro hospital really needs to get rid of him

Saw Dr.Gadir yesterday at Cobequid emergancy with Kidney Stones. First doctor to show me empathy for what I was dealing with. He said, "I'm sorry you're dealing with this, that is so painful." It may not mean much to some, but that was the first time I felt like a doctor was really paying attention to what I was dealing with and not just trying to push drugs and get me out the door. Took the time to take a picture of my CT scan notes and give me his phone to read them, which was nice and made me feel like I had more information on my own health. He gave me the perfect medications to help pass the stone, and even some extra as I have another stone in my other kidney so I wouldn't have to run back to emerg right away. Thank you so much for your care and attentiveness, Dr.Gadir. I really appreciate you.

Visit dr Gadir Yousif at the Truro hospital Sunday July 9, 2023 and was very good to find my medical problem and give two prescriptions

Not worth a comment, started rambling on about a condition I had a year ago, which I no longer have I went to Emergency for a totally different reason !!! I was in total disbelief in what he was saying .

The worst doctor I have ever come in contact with. He is rude and after waiting in the ER for 8 hours in severe pain he told me he didn’t know why I was here or what I wanted him to do and then looked directly at me and just said “well do you want another doctor then” and was mad at ME.

Honestly he has no bedside manner whatsoever. He basically just disregards you and writes you a prescription and you’re off. He did give me good antibiotics/steroids and they are helping but my god he is rude. I was still waiting in the room because he didnt tell me I could leave and he goes “well is there a question or?” And I just said to him he didnt send me off and he basically yelled at me to leave. Wouldn’t recommend but the healthcare system is sh*t in NS anyways right now so.

I have no doubt I'd be dead right now if I had not ended up seeing this Doctor. He was the only one who took my issue seriously and got me on a treatment that made me healthy again after years of misery. Thank you Dr Gadir!

Tjis doctor is rude beyond belief, constantly interrupts and talks over you, will not let you finish a sentence. Raises his voice and speaks to you in a condescending tone. He did not exam of the injury at all . He prescribed a drug (from a family of drugs) that he knew was not able to take and the dosage was triple what it should have been according to a pharmacist I consulted when I had an extremely bad reaction to it. I hesitate now going to the Truro Emergency dept because of him. In future I will make the drive to Halifax Emerg or New Glasgow Emerg so I can get a competent Doctor. I know of others that have had serious misdiagnoses from Gadir that caused them to be referred to orthopedic surgeons to correct the injuries and issues he caused or ignored with regard to broken bones and the treatment (or lack of) by this Doctor.

I believe Dr Gadir was the ER physician who saw me this week at the Cobequid Hospital. The 6 hour wait was worth it. He was direct, agreeable, amiable and facilitated the the diagnostic I needed and provided the treatment I needed. The whole staff at Cobequid are to be commended from the front desk screener with endless patience to the triage nurses, registration clerk and nurse Theresa to the CT technician. Grace under pressure. Thank you.

I don’t even think I can rate him. This was the worst experience ever at Truro Colchester Hospital by a doctor. My mom was brought in by ambulance from the nursing home and the paperwork was very thorough that was sent along with her. The paramedic stated how thorough nursing home staff were and confirmed everything with me at the hospital. This doctor only focused on one issue (my Mom’s hemoglobin ) and that she didn’t need a blood transfusion. She wasn’t there for a blood transfusion, yes her hemoglobin was low but other results were notably low or high. When I spoke he told me to be quiet and allow him to speak. When I asked about her iron as it was low from the test the previous day and he said it was 19.....I said that I was advised it was 2.3 he advised me I was wrong. So if 2.3 was wrong why would he give a prescription for iron. This doctor did not read the information provided and he was relying on answers that my mother was giving who has dementia. The nurse we had was wonderful and the paramedics were amazing —-the gentleman who brought her to the hospital and the amazing ladies who took her back. She did receive a bag of fluid for her dehydration. Thank you to the nurse who followed up with the nursing home staff and was question on my Mom’s swallowing issues. She brought to the attention of the doctor. We have an outpatient referral for that now. It was the nurses, in my opinion, who were the professionals and not this doctor. I guess I can’t submit unless I give this doctor at least a one in each category.
