I’ve seen Dr Phang for 40 yrs now and each time I had a procedure it always goes smooth and without complications. He is a most trusted Physician and very talented-not to mention he also has a good sense of humour! Performed colon surgery resection on my mom. Calm, reassuring and great job. Would not have gone to anyone other that him, as he's the only colorectal surgeon in BC qualified and can help you live a long and full life. Other surgeon mentioned risk of a stoma, Dr Phang shook his head, no risk this I can do and well. Thank you!

I have nothing but good things to say. Dr Phang's is somewhat of a character. Do not think because he has a sence of humour that he doesn't care or know what he is doing believe me this man is smart and talented. All my cuts were complemented by the nurses saying they have never seen such clean cuts etc. For what he operated on my colon taking out a piece around 6 ins or more and reattaching it back together. This is the Dr you want to have

Did a major resection for colorectal cancer. He was very forthright and informative on options available to me. Surgery went very smoothly and the scars from the incisions are barely noticeable. He is an excellent surgeon supported by a very empathetic and professional staff.

I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for Dr. Phang. I had to undergo serious abdominal surgery and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. He took the time to answer all of my questions, offered all other options to surgery, and tell me exactly what would be happening. I feel better than I have in ages.

Dr Phang is one of the best colorectal surgeons he is the only dr in Canada who did my major 30lb colostomy hernia supposed to take 2 hours but he took 7 he took the time and care to get it done right never complained always called me to make sure i was doing ok his staff is the best he is the best its sucks when people get the bad news they may have cancer it really sucks truth is shocking but that's his job he does the best he can and i will back that up with anything best doctor ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
