This doctor is so completely inept and unethical that he stopped the gurney on my way to the operating room "to take a more conservative approach", which was "do nothing " for so long that I became totally depending on pain meds, spent months in rehab facility *physical rehab), ending up with multiple surgeries, further health problems and permanent kidney damage from years of pain meds, permanently disabled due to this unbelievable arrogant, pompous, condescending xxxxx. I totally believe the guy below who had the terrible surgical experience. I had the same one - bad. I regret ever seeing him at all.

Prompt, excellent "bedside manner", honest & straightforward, puts you totally at ease, does not rush you, provides all the info you need to make intelligent decisions, friendly & comforting, makes you feel confident in his knowledge & decisions.

I find Dr. Motzkin to be very attentive and prompt for all my appointments. I understand he is on call for emergencies which can take him away from the office and disrupt scheduled appts. I however, have no problem with that since I am one of the emergency patients he responded to.

I, too, am surprised that anyone found Dr. Motzkin arrogant or uncaring. He performed a highly successful surgery on my broken femur with extraordinary skill. I was out of the hospital in 48 hours and 12 weeks later am back to a full exercise program. He's smart, not only answered but anticipated my questions, visited me in the hospital where he was helpful and comforting, and ensured that my pain was well controlled. He's a great guy...don't understand these negative reactions.

This clown put an external fixator on my leg for a broken kneecap, drilling 4 holes in my bones. After a few weeks, Dr. Motzkin ignored my repeated complaints about the increasing pain and fevers. Dr. kept telling me to keep washing with soap and water instead of prescribing me antibiotics. My 40 year old sister also in the medical field was with me for a visit where the DR quotes "i dont see any connection between a fever and a possible infection" and "my advice to you is to stop taking your temperature" TRUE AND EXACT QUOTES!! So he denied puting me on antibiotics and then it was too late, it turned out to be a serious case of MRSA (MERSA) infection. Did i mention he unscrewed the massive rods from my leg in his office under no pain medication as I screamed bloody murder? I changed surgeons and have a good mind for a lawsuit. THIS IS A TRUE STORY

He is very arrogant and self centered and not the least bit helpful or compassionate. His patients were in the waiting room at least 2 hours and yet I saw him just sitting in one of the rooms doing nothing. When I finally got into the exam room, the office manager told me he would not see me because he was not affiliated with the hospital where I went to the ER! Why did the office staff not tell me this when I made the appointment? Why did they make me wait 2 hours before I was told? Since I never saw him, I don't know the extent of his knowledge. I do know I will never go to this office again.
