Sadly Dr. Shafran has retired. I adored him. I went to him for years until he did not take my insurance. He always listened and gave great advice. I trusted him.

I love this doctor, He was the one who targets on the cause of the disease instead of treating the inflammation from Crohn's. I fell in love in my very first visit to see him.

Dr Shafran is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He came into my life when I was very unhappy and hopeless many years ago. I attended his seminar shortly thereafter regarding Crohn's. This further solidified my impression of his dedication to the medical profession. He continues to be on the cutting edge of treatment for his patients. Saying Dr Shafran is amazing is an understatement.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shafran's for 25 years. He has treated me for ulcerative colitis, reflux, severe heartburn, & esophageal spasms. He is kind, caring, & compassionate & an expert in the field of gastroenterology. I drive an hour to see him & will continue to do so for all of my GI needs.

I live in Los Angeles & I will always travel back to Dr Shafran! He has taken care of me since I was in my early 20s.. I have a history of crohns disease & he is the BEST for all GI issues but especially Crohns!! Love Ya! ! ♡ & thank u for all that you do!!

I have been seeing Dr Shafran for almost 10 years (have UC). After living in the New York /New Jersey area and seeing top Drs like Dr Waye who Invented the colonoscopy, i have alot of experience with gastros. Have UC for 25 years. Dr Shafran even came back to the office after i showed up 1/2 hour late for an appt! I had thought my appt was 430 but it was 4 and he had already gone home (with his beloved Kiwi). When they told him i was there he came back to the office to have our Appt! You ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GET THAT FROM ANY DR I HAVE EVER SEEN! God bless Dr Shafran and his staff ! Including all canine companions!

Prepare to be given a weight and physical consult from the doctor's wife, I've never been so humiliated in a public setting by a healthcare professional. She doesn't even have a medical license! I will not be returning to this office.
