Bad experience. Was dismissed from care at 28 weeks because I wouldn’t get the pertussis vaccine. I’m allergic to it and was hospitalized as a child after receiving it. She wouldn’t continue to see me after and typed out a rude letter dismissing me from care. I was shocked and had to find another doc to take over my care. Would not recommend.

I have known Dr. Lowden for 17 years. She saved my life 17 years ago. I have continued to see her. Dr. Lowden is very caring and understanding. If I could use her as my GP I definitely would!!

Dr. Lowden was great throughout my pregnancy in 2005.
Personable. Polite. Understanding. Would automatically default -or at least immediately consult with me- regarding any choices having to do with my care, rather than deciding for me (unless of course it was a medical decision I asked her to represent what she would consider to be my best interests in any given situation!).

So, fantastic OB with who. we visited with at every prenatal appointment office visits, up to delivery and even beyond
Excellent care! However, that’s not why I sing her praises;
In May of 2016- just hours prior to my 30th birthday, I was rushed to ER with severe hemorrhaging. I could tell that the doctors and nurses were absolutely terrified, and quickly learned the scope of my emergency was so much more than they were equipped to deal with. Just as I was being wheeled out for an urgent transfer, who is to walk in but Dr. Lowden!! I did not call her and neither did my family, but instead when they hospital looked at my records they were looking at ten year old information instead of my most recent. However, even though I’d not seen or visited her for almost 12 years, and despite her and emergency staff then realizing their error, Dr Lowden was by my side within 20-25 minutes of the accidental call. She rode next to me in the ambulance to the much bigger regional hospital, and proceeded to help me through a subsequent Stage 3 cervical cancer diagnosis up until my very last chemo and radiation doses and beyond into my full hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo/oopherectomy.
I mean that type of care just NEVER happens these days- even healthcare professionals have become more engaged with their devices, less so with what is right in front of them, so this - and considering the absolute horror I was experiencing post-diagnosis, was exactly what I needed to see from a doctor in order to give me confidence in our terrifying treatment plan.

Dr. Lowden was wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy. She answered all of my questions and concern's with care. She had great bedside manner and her staff was very kind and helpful. Will be referring all of my friends to her.

Very impersonal. Is kind as long as you do things her way and only her way. Don't be fooled with her knowledge. Her beside manner is lacking.

Dr. Lowdens staff is wonderful the receptionists always remember me and it is nice to know that they actually remember their patients along with the nursing staff.

Love Dr. Lowden! She is such an amazing doctor who actually takes the time to get to know her patients! Her nurse Lisa is also wonderful and couldn't ask for a better doctor!
