I have BC/BS and Medicare. I have been seeing Dr. McMillen for over 10 years. He listens and answers all my questions. I have fibromyalgia. diabetes, osteo-arthritis. back pain.allergies, ulcer. He has helped me so much. If it was not for Dr. McMillen I may not still be here. I had to have cervical spine surgery because my arthritis spurs in the cervical area "attacked" and my spinal cord was so enlarged it was causing me to lose feeling in my legs and arms, incontinence, and severe pain. Dt. McMillen referred me to a surgeon who told me I needed surgery right away or I would die. Dr. McMillen has me on several topical creams and non-narcotic patches for pain. I had about 30 doctors tell me there was nothing wrong with my back. One even said it was in my head. I have had pain since I was very young but no one knew why. Dr. McMillen found the problem after one visit and one MRI that 30 othere couldn't. I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. McMillan treated me for a period of six months. I terminated his position as my pain management doctor. As a christian man I found his use of profanity during appointments to be unacceptable. His knowledge on certain aspects of my case was lacking in correct factual content or outright incorrect. When individuals graduate from college not all of them are at the top of the class, some individuals are ranked at the bottom. After working with this physician he appears to be, in my experiences at the bottom. Call his office and you can get an appointment anytime, this may be a direct reflection of why the schedule is so empty and why so many patients are involved in research. This physician has to pay patients to see him, rather than people paying the doctor. Interesting.

This is my second drug study with dr McMillan and both times have found him professional, caring and knowledgeable. He has helped me to get control of my fibromyalgia so I can lead a normal life and stop feeling like I am crazy when I talk about "bad body days".

The man has a license to kill! I started with him as a clinical trial patient but 2 weeks before the trial I ended up having to pull out! My health was so bad,looking for a new doctor wasn't possible. That man had me wrapped around his finger, making it seem like he was doing all this research for us, but in reality he was getting kickbacks from Pharmacutical companies. He had me on 26 drugs at one time - I should be dead! He too, as stated by one other reviewer, said it was ok for me to try alternative means! He kept me on Lyrica despite knowing that I was having potentially near fatal reactions - fevers of 104 for over 2 weeks! I worked with a holistic practioner to get off all the drugs byt the 6 WE thought I needed - did this without his knowing. Once I was off them, I became more vocal and inquisitive - he didn't like that. He fired me one day on the spot refusing to help me withdrawl of Fentayl. He is a VERY DANGEROUS DOCTOR even though he appears charming!

Dr. McMillen is the best Rheumatoligist I've ever had who treated my Fibromyalgia, before I went to him I had lost confidence in the rheumatology/arthritis profession to be able to treat my illness with empathy and compassion. Dr. McMillen went above and beyond to help alleviate my pain, he wasn't just a textbook physician he supported me when I turned to more homeopathic and natural remedies. He stated to me once " whatever works to help you, I'm not against it, whether it's prescription or vitamin, I just want you to get better". Thank you Dr. McMillen, I will always remember your dedication to treating this patient with professionalism, dignity and respect and not just looking at me as a number on a file.
