Worst doctor I've ever seen in my life. It's like visiting a doctor's office in Soviet Russia. Dark, run down office that feels vaguely scammy. The doctor never remembered who i was, didn't seem interested in helping me, and looked disgusted when he touched me. Office staff was unprofessional, nasty, and one person repeatedly lied to cover for her mistakes. Charging $1000 cash for an initial one hour visit was a nice touch too. Avoid.

Great at diagnosis but not great at calling back, communicating with other doctors or patients.

I have spent a lifetime traveling all over the country to find out what my problem is. After doing a lengthy hours long thorough evaluation Dr. Chopra finally gave me answers I’ve been searching for a number of decades. I have a rare disease and his ability to put the pieces together was my greatest relief. I’ve subsequently had other specialists agree with his diagnosis. He sees patients from all over the world and is a gem in the little state of R.I. His Harvard Medical School training is extremely apparent. The staff are very caring but under extreme pressure to get the necessary information and paperwork together for each patient. I thank God every day for this kind and compassionate physician. His overall knowledge is amazing. He doesn’t believe in opioids. He believes in finding the root cause of a problem and treating the actual condition that causes the pain. It’s very time consuming for the doctor, his staff, as well as us patients. Some people want the easy way of taking a drug to numb the pain and he’s not your guy if this is what you’re looking for. I specifically see him because he does want to help fix people as much as he can. We all must be active participants in our treatment and if a patient isn’t willing to try his recommendations then he will drop someone because he has far too many people waiting months to get in for first time appointments. Opioids just block the pain without treating it. Dr. Chopra does “think outside the box” of many physicians and if you follow his recommendations based on decades of research you can improve. He isn’t a miracle worker but close enough for me. He’s saved my life and that of hundreds of others.

He chose to tell me, a young woman barely in my 20’s, and thriving in my field, that because of a familial genetic condition I should give up my profession as I would not be able to continue. He spoke as if I was doomed to live on disability. 5 years later I’m still thriving with no particularly ill effects, as is my sister who was given the same grim information. He’s trying to do his job, and do it well and he is good at finding problems where others have missed obvious signs, but he’s a nightmare when it comes to bedside manner.

When he's running late it's because he's spending time with a patient. He is worth the wait and he will spend as much time as you need with him. If it wasn't for him I don't know where I would be right now. He has helped my pain tremendously! He thinks outside the box, he is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate

He helped my daughter get back her life. She has back pain and could not go to school or work. She had back surgery which made it worse. They wanted to give pain medications only. Dr. Chopra was very thorough and patient with her. He helped her a lot. She will be starting school this fall. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

I was disabled for 5 years from chronic pain in all over my body. None of the doctors knew what was wrong. They kept saying that I was in my head. When I met Dr. Chopra he gave me some good advice and I felt that he knew what was wrong with me. I am doing better now and I know I still have a ways to go. But I feel safe knowing that he is there to guide me.
